Scenic Design

Gave them a deposit. We waited 2 months only to have them tell us that they could not do the work. They did say that they would refund our money. They returned only 37% and we have been waiting several months without any further communication from them. I would not recommend them.

Maybe she would have done a good job, but never heard from her again. Left several messages, but nothing???? Not sure what happened to her...left the country, retired suddenly, hit the lottery...I don't know.

We contacted Diane, one of the owners, and made an appointment for consultation and estimate of work to be done. She showed up on time and spent about one hour making suggestions and discussing the design, based on our needs. She also took us around the neighborhood to show us other landscaping jobs which she had done, to give us a visual idea of the type of plants she planned to use. We were quite impressed with her landscaping skills, her pleasant personality and professionalism. She prepared a proposal/estimate and a date was set. The job was completed as agreed, on time, and exceeded our expectations. We also had a follow up visit two days later with her to confirm that we were extremely pleased with the job. This business comes highly recommended.

Looked very nice. Got lots of good feedback from neighbors. However, I am not sure the cypress were planted deep enough. They are tilting and turning orange. Scenic Design does not guarantee their plants. I had to pay 50% of the price of a dead tree replacement. They are excellent at installing beds and clearing mulching areas.

Excellent! Diane, the owner, proposed a plan and I made some changes. She searched central and southern DE nurseries for certain trees that I wanted and found them. Brought in her crew and bulldozer and started working. Landscaping was completed in 3 days, and the hardscape in a few hours. We have had many follow-up visits with her to check on the trees and plants. Everything turned out wonderful. Our yard is the envy of the neighborhood. Some neighbors have already come by to look and ask for her phone number.
