He is very prompt and came out right away. All his guys are nice and polite, and cleaned up very well. They protected our shrubery. We were very happy with him. He was great. The work was top quality! No cutting corners.

There are always issues that come up during any job but Tom always had several solutions to address any issue that came up. In addition every night the job site was completely cleaned up , which made living through the job much easier. I highly recommend TB Painting and restoration because Tom is very professional, he works quickly, he is a trouble shooter and very responsive.

A week passed after we signed the contract with no communication for start date of the work. Then, there was an evening call wanting to start the work the next day, which was inconvenient for us. Throughout the job, the communication about when work would be done was done at the last minute (night before, day of), with at least one change to a previously agreed-upon day. We asked if he could repair some of the shutter mountings that had loosened as the shutters were painted. After his workers left we saw this was not done, and called him to return to complete that work, which was agreed to at the start of the job. We were told it would be done the following week. Now, at the end of another week it has not yet been done, nor has there been any contact from Tom Brown, the owner. A designer we used that he recommended for a faux finish (who did a great job) said she would mention the shutters to him, and still no contact to complete that work. After workers left who did the interior work we have at least 3-4 places where proper wall patching and sanding was not done. As his workers were leaving there were a few spots of blue and red paint on the hardwood floors, which his workers removed after being told about them. One of the exterior workers needed to use the bathroom often, tracking in mud and mulch as he went to the bathroom. While Tom liked to comment often on the "big jobs" that he had, it seemed he had little interest in treating his "little job" customers with equal care for quality, and consideration and respect for their schedules. We will not be using this contractor again.
