.He was very late in starting and we even thought he had walked away. But he showed up

They were priced much higher than some of the other individuals. My wife had to constantly call to find out when somebody was going to come out and give us an estimate. When the person did show up, I think he was one of the owners, he was very arrogant, and spoke down to my wife. It was just not a good experience at all, and they didn’t give us a written estimate. I wouldn’t recommend them, and luckily for us, they didn’t call us back.

Early in the week, their guy came out to evaluate what we needed done and gave us the estimate. He also offered a discount if the neighbors got their work done on the same day. He said that it would be a full day job for both and that they would start first thing in the morning approximately 8am. On the day we had agreed upon, they did not show up on time. In fact, by about 10:30 am, I needed to call and find out what was going on. I was told they were running a little late on another job but would be there soon. THEY DID NOT ARRIVE AND START WORK UNTIL ABOUT 3PM! When I arrived home from work at approximately 6pm, I was informed that they were finished with the work on my house (looked like they had just finished recently) and they were working on my neighbors. The pin oak in the front looked very good, the pine in the back was removed and the stump ground and the cherry was also removed but the stump not ground. The zelkova in the back and one maple had been trimmed. Nothing had been done on the crabapple in the front, or 2 maples near the house or cherry in the back. So, I had to get them to come over and do that work. By this time, they were clearly rushing to get everything done before dark. I was informed that they brought in multiple crews to make up for time but they were rushing like crazy to get it done. They did not remove the stump on the cherry (said it wasnt in the quote) but they did trim up the other trees after I pointed them out. The only thing Ill say about the work on my neighbors property is that they also were not happy with the rush job and they also had to point out alot of things which were supposed to be done but were not. The one big truck did not have lights and so they left just before dark so they could drive it back. Overall, I would not book them again. There is a communication problem between the guy who gives the quote (who was not around on the day of the work) and the guys who do the work. They also were late and did not communicate that (should have probably rescheduled instead of jamming a full day job into 4 hours. And, they had to be hounded to complete everything in the quote which is always a pain in the butt to have to do.
