Tim Curry was highly recommended by a high volume real estate agent who had personal experience with him doing a member of her family. He was asked to bid on our job. He arrived on time on the requested day. He went through the home quickly and arrived at a bid in about only 30 minutes. He said he had been doing this type of work for a long time, and he knew exactly how to do it, what he needed, and the price he needed to attain. His price included all labor and all paint and materials. He was gruff on the phone, and the same in person. He did return phone calls in a timely manner. He predicted the job to be xx days of labor, and the winning bidder also predicted the same xx days of labor. But his bid was much higher than the winning bidder...more than 50% higher, plus we felt like he would not be the easiest person in the work to work with. I thank him for doing the bid, but we did not select him. The winning bidder did a fantastic job. Bottom line: it pays to get multiple bids, plus get a feel for "chemistry" of the bidder to see how the job might progress.

Tim and Rick were first to respond to our call for an estimate. Had another estimate that was comparable in price and scope. When we awarded the job to Tim, he was able to do the work the next week, in three days. They guys protected the floors and carpets all over the house wherever they worked or walked. The bathrooms were clean when they finished. Completely trustworthy and professional. Since the existing wallpaper came off more easily than expected, we even got a small reduction in the estimated price. Highly recommended.
