He incorporated/fixed all of the big and little details we asked for. We couldn't be more pleased! We are hiring him for further work on our house. Description of Work: I needed the glass replaced in two double-hang windows where the airtight seal had been broken. Byler charged me $175 per window for the replacement glass and labor. He came when he said he was coming and he was very quick at doing the replacement. I would definitely use him again.

I am very thankful I found his name along with great reviews on Angie's List. I would definitely call him again for any future work I may need on my house..
Description of Work: David Byler and his team installed bamboo flooring in the living room, sunroom, dining room, hallway and three bedrooms. They also installed tile flooring in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. I supplied all the flooring, underlayment and grout. Bylers supplied everythilng else. They installed a new triple window in the living room and a new replacement window in the sunroom.. They removed a closet from one bedroom and drywalled the area. They also repaired a leak in the roof around the chimney. They installed a dishwasher. They removed damaged insulation from the crawl space and replaced as needed and they installed a plastic vapor barrier in the crawl space.. They installed a heat vent in the laundry room.

Description of Work: I had a problem with an exterior wall at my home. My handyman found that the vinyl siding had puckered and some water had seeped into the foam board. I worried about a potential mold problem. Mr. Byler came to my home and inspected the wall. He told me that all was well and there was no problem. I insisted that he take some kind of payment because he felt that since there was no problem, there was no fee. Mr. Byler was professional, knew his trade, and was a pleasure to deal with. In the future, when I need work done at my home, I would not hesitate to use him. I surely recommend him.

 + -1 moreConstruction went very well. The contractor came to our house and began work as scheduled. The deck was finished in a reasonable amount of time with little mess or yard damage. Very professional work crew. The deck passed both county inspections without any issues. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend Byler Home Builders to our friends.
Description of Work: Designed and constructed a deck. We provided a rough idea of what we wanted and the contractor developed the detailed design. He told us who his supplier was and we went there to pick out material and colors for the deck. He applied for and received the building permit from the county and provided a detailed drawing so that I could get the HOA approval for the design. The deck is 10 by 13 feet with a bump out and stairs. It is elevated about 10 feet off the ground.

 + 7 moreDavid and his entire crew were very professional during every step of the work. No problems were encountered at anytime including compliance with all the inspectors. We were present at all times and were very impressed with the work and his communication skills. He finished his work over 30 days early. We selected Byler Home Builders because of the quality work he did for us on an earlier project installing doors requiring some custom work. We would hire them again for any project we might have and would give them an outstanding reference to anyone that asked how they did. David started this project as our contractor and ended as our friend.
Description of Work: David Byler, Byler Home Builders, designed & built an addition on our home for my wife's mother. The work performed consisted of a large bedroom, bathroom with shower, a walk-in closet, re-topping/expanding a deck and re-roofing our house. We also added a separate AC/Heat Pump to the addition.

David Byler was very pleasant, always responded to phone calls and was always here when he said he would be. The price was fair and the work was good. We had such a good experience working with him that we have referred him to others, had him do work on our parent's home and had him back to do other work around our home. The most recent was a door replacement. We intend to have him replace some french doors in our home, do a couple of bathroom remodels and some additional add on work.
