Description of Work: I don't know the last time I contacted Bill Rust Plumbing, but it has been several times over the last years. They are the only people I would call. They were originally recommended by a church member/friend, it was a good recommendation, and I would definitely recommend them!

+ -1 moreThe pump was installed on time, BUT, the installation did not include a container to force the water to separate from the surrounding media. As a consequence, when the pump activated, water and the material under the concrete was pumped out at the same time. The consequence of this was that the floor of my basement started to collapse as a consequence of the improper and incompetent installation. The approach to the work was both lazy and incompetent. In addition, I was quoted $300.00 for the installation of the pump, but when the bill arrived, it was for $750.00, despite the fact that the job went as was anticipated. I would not hire this company again.

Description of Work: This was the second time in two months that the gas control valve of my hot water heater failed. The water heater is still under warrantee, but Ruud/Rheem doesn't pay for service. Both times, Bill Rust had to come out to determine exactly what was wrong, call technical support at Ruud, order the part and come back the next day to replace it. The plumbers are polite, clean, personable and efficient; it's the product that was bad. When I first called on Saturday, Bill Rust talked me through trouble shooting, but didn't schedule Bobby to come out to check the waterheater until Monday morning since he knew the company couldn't send the part until Monday. I was not home, but Bobby let himself in, under my approval and direction, and fixed the problem immediately, also testing the working ability of the part. This morning I called Ruud/Rheem and they agreed to pay for the installation, but not the iinitial assessment. When I called, Bill Rust explained that they needed to physically assess the situation to avoid not ordering all the necessary parts. He took off some of the intial service bill caused by Bobby's having to wait around until Ruud opened at 8 am CENTRAL standard time.
