4/10/2012Mold Busters is great! Larry was prompt, professional, polite and knowledgeable, and I thought that the price was very reasonable. We paid for an expensive evaluation by another remediation company, fully expecting that it was a sales job that would result in an very thorough recommendation for services, and they gave us mostly boilerplate for the evaluation, and never followed up with an offer for services to take care of the problem. Then we called Mold Busters. No fuss, no muss, Larry asked what size the area to be treated was and gave me a quote over the phone, and took care of it the next Tuesday!! It really feels good when you find a company that does what they say they will, and helps you get things done without a lot of chasing them down!

Larry answered my call for an estimate and service scheduling over the Memorial Day weekend and came by promplty on the Tuesday following the holiday to remove mold from my leaky basement. He did the work on time, thoroughly, and for a price I didn't feel was outrageous. I recommend MoldBusters and will look to them for help in the future.

Our mold testing was scheduled and completed within a very reasonable timeframe. The results revealed a problem, but not as extensive as first thought. Mold Busters was contracted to complete the remediation and all was resolved with complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend Mold Busters as a reliable, professional and honest company to handle your mold concerns.

Our house was up for sale, and after an inspection report stated "suspected mold in attic"....we contacted Mold Busters for testing. We received a very quick response from Larry, and the testing and examination went smoothly. Before the results were back, we proactively scheduled the "remediation." Larry showed up prepared, and in about 4-5 hours had our entire attic rafters sprayed with a biocide, then sprayed again with an encapsulation product. The smell wasn't too bad, but did linger for about a week. Our house was on the market, and the smell was very tolerable, so it didn't interfere with showing the house. I would recommend Mold Busters to anyone who needs mold testing, and remediation. However, I wish that the scientific mold analysis report had been accompanied with a written explanation of what it exactly means. Larry verbally discussed the results with us, but I had nothing "reassuring" in writing to give prospective buyers. Larry did provide several scientific articles discussing mold types, etc, but these sounded too scary to show prospective buyers. I did receive a written letter stating that the mold had been professionally "remediated", with the detailsl of the products used. In summary, it was a fast conclusion to an upsetting problem, especially since our house was on the market.

Phone call was answered immediately. Free Estimate was done the next day at the time agreed. Estimate was emailed that night. Process of remediation of mold explained. Service was done a few days later, as his schedule allowed. Mold killing agents did not have too caustic a smell. Larry is very conscientious about his workmanship and clean up. The drywall contractor whom Larry recommended and often works with came the next day and also did a great job.We would recommend Mold Busters to others. (And NO...Thankfully, he does not have a vehicle with MOLD BUSTERS displayed all over it in the driveway, for the neighbors and local Real Estate agents to see!)

He was wonderful. I felt very comfortable from the first time I met him. He was courteous and professional. I had seen positive feedback and now I know why. I was extremely pleased.

Overall Larry's service was great. Larry also gave us great ideas for keeping the mold away without spending 8k to 9k to water proof the basement. We also plan to use Larry for installation of our dehumidifier.

Larry arrived on time on a Thursday, examined the attic, and began to remove the insulation. We discovered that the insulation was not only roll out bats that I had been adding over the years, but 55 year old rock wool, 3" deep insulation, as well. He worked non-stop (no lunch, no bathroom breaks) from 10 AM to 4 PM, removing 65 full trash bags of heavy, very filthy insulation. He returned the next day, Friday, and sprayed and then fogged "SHOCKWAVE," an EPA registered agent to kill the mold. He then sprayed, using an electric compressor, "Fosters Full Defense 40-25," to kill and encapsulate the mold. This appears like a white paint on the wooden surfaces throughout the attic. He then removed half of the 65 trash bags and returned on Sunday to remove the rest. Throughout this process, Larry answered my many questions with patience. He was careful to use tarps, cleaned up after himself, and provided an invoice for me to submit to my insurance company. I believe that moisture had been migrating from my house through the very old and packed, non-faced insulation. Hopefully, with its removal, new vapor barrier insulation with a total of R-43, adequate ventilation from a Smart Vent, and Larry's anti-microbial treatment, this problem has been solved. I would recommend Mold Busters LLC for anyone fighting a mold problem.

Because of a health issue, we were advised to get a mold test done. Not having any experience in this area we turned to Angie;s List and found Mold Busters as being A rated and also nearby. From the initial phone call the experience couldn't have been smoother. Larry's knowledge of mold testing and remediation was shared in terms we could understand and best of all there was no high pressure to have any of the work done. A fully detailed estimate was provided. He spent a good part of the day here and worked continuously until completed. Larry also pointed out and serviced areas that were not included on his estimate. Most contractors I've dealt with look for additional work they can charge for. Would I recommend Mold Busters, LLC to my friends? I already have. With the blitz of advertising that enters the home, choosing the right company to do work that you know little about can be a stressful experience. You're pretty much at their mercy. Some are good, some not so good. How to choose? Angie's List led me to the right outfit and for that I am grateful.

Larry was very considerate of our wishes and took care of a problem we had no idea how to solve. We were grateful that Angie's List helped us find him.

Found MoldBusters on Angie's list and after using his service, agree with the other positive reviews here. Took care of my crawl space, disinfected and sealed all the joists. Very happy with the work. I thought the price was very fair, especially compared to other estimates I had gotten.

Larry was very easy to work with. He came very promptly to assess the situation and provide his estimate. He told it like it is and described what was necessary and nothing more. When he came to do the job he brought his industrial HEPA vacuum to keep the air clean. He was extremely thorough and meticulous in his treatment of the affected area. The remediated area of the room is very clean and shows the precision of his work. I picked Larry on the basis of prior Angie's List reviews and didn't get other estimates, so I don't know how his price compares, but knowing how expensive mold remediation can get, I think it was pretty reasonable for the work he performed. I am very happy with the job he did and would recommend him and use him again, although I hope I don't have to.

MoldBusters came out promptly and gave me an estimate with a clear, complete explanation of the services he would provide. He answered all of my questions in a professional way. I did interview other Angie's List providers but found Larry to be the best choice because of professionalism, his willingness to educate me on the work and his courtesy. I liked that the person who provided the estimate was also providing the service. I was unwilling to have unknown individuals enter my house. He is also fully certified and insured. He arrived promptly on the agreed upon date and completed the work exactly as he said he would. The room that had the area to be remediated included an older jewelry box that my 84 year old mother had just cleaned out. She had dropped jewelry on the floor and Larry gave it to me. I felt confident that he was honest through our meeting, but this just confirmed it. I would highly recommend MoldBusters to future consumers.

I called Larry at Mold Busters and he was very responsive. He made it through a recent snow storm to make his appointment to give us an estimate. It was a small job (two 8 foot walls), but he had no problem quoting us a price which we found very reasonable. He was punctual on the day of the work and he completed the work promptly and professionally. Even though he found a bit more mold and had to cut out some extra drywall, he only charged the quoted price. All in all we were very satisfied and would not hesitate to use Larry again and to recommend him.

Larry, the owner, did a great job. His prices were so, so much better than his competitors. Other competitors (listed high on the Angie's List) refused to come to my home for less than $1,000 for an inspection plus $1,500 for the minimum in remediation work. However, Larry did a really nice and thorough job, which included $150 for inspection and some lab testing, and $350 for the clean-up and floor sealant. I'd highly recommend him. Note: The other competitors will try to scare you and make you believe that all the other companies don't have certification and follow proper clean-up procedures -- thus, they try to charge super-high fees... Larry (Mold Busters) is certified and he charged an honest prices for a job well done.

Larry did a great job and removed all of the rotted wood and drywall. Price was a little higher than we expected.
