Ben did a good job putting in the new system. However he did a horrible job with the cleanup and everything. No final grading was done, seeding was horrible, all the leftover sand was just dumped in the back of home on the property where everyone can see it, debris laying on ground, tree knocked over and laying down and didn’t bother to move it. Also he has been pretty rude when trying to bring these issues to him to get resolved and he is just washing his hands with all of this. We are not happy at all the way he left this property as this had to be done for a closing to happen. Now the new buyers want us to pay to have all of this other stuff done to make it look nice because Ben cannot step up to handle it.

I called Ben Roberts to come out to my home because my septic system was failing. The sewage was backing up into the house. He sent workers out who spent several hours "fixing" the problem. Two-three weeks later the same problem was recurring!! I called and told Ben that I was dissatisfied with the work they did and he told me to find someone else to fix it!! When I had a reputable company come to estimate the issue they reviewed the "jerry-rigged" work that Ben had done and offered a real repair with an estimate in detail as to what the problem was. The system had not been installed properly by Roberts Septic. The holding tank lids were installed below grade which allows groundwater to run into my septic system, overworking the pump and causing it to fail. Roberts also installed lower grade equipment (floats and timers) which was failing prematurely according to the other septic company ..I will never recommend Roberts Septic to anyone. Roberts Septic uses sub-par materials and equipment, but charges first class rates and does not solve problems, but tries to sell you on "pump outs" at $200 each visit and recurring labor charges for visits that they make to do repairs that are short term fixes.

They were here working for a week, overall they worked hard. They put debris in the sink holes as a filler, and the sand settled about a month later and there were sink holes. I had 6 foot deep sink holes which is unacceptable because I run a daycare. Now the sink hole area is fenced off, but the situation is not rectified. The driveway had to be cut across to put in new piping. They said they would repair the driveway with the asphalt filler, and the never came to do that. I have left numerous messages and they will not contact me back. I have contacted the BBB about this, and am awaiting a response.

I had an emergency situation, where my septic tank had backed up and overflowed my toilets. I called at least 4 other pump-out services and explained the desperate fix I was in and no one could come out that day,except for one person said he be there in 45 minutes,but his rate would be triple.I came across :Roberts" in the yellow pages and he came out within the hour.He performed an emergency service with his helper and had me cleaned up in 15 minutes. I asked him if he could pump out the septic tank and said he be back tomorrow. He came back,pumped out the tank and charged me $200. for the service call from the day before and the pumping that day.I couldn't believe that for the two services, he charged me less than what most locals charge for just the pumping, which ranged from $225.00 to $260.00. I've seen his truck a bit in my neighborhood, so the word must be getting out about this customer-oriented businessman. thanks, dino
