Found water streaming out from under house during morning dogwalk. Called and left message .... Call was returned within the hour. Was advised tech was on another job nearby and they would call and advise when he was on his way. They did. Leak was a bit of a challenge as it was an 'unusual occurrence' very hot day... poor guy had to crawl under house. first fix didn't work, went to Plan B' .... he kept at it until it was fixed. Pleasant, professional and will use again.

They were wonderful to deal with. They estimate was reasonable.

They are good plumbers, polite, reliable and excellent mechanic but the only problem is the cost.

The technician was knowledgeable. I was aware of the 94 dollar service charge however the technician did not discuss pricing for servicing the R210A refrigerant . Available through Amazon. com for $ 100 dollars per 25 pound tank plus a $ 25 dollar delivery fee . These guys charges me $481 dollars that's $. 132 dollars a pound, nearly 1000 percent mark up and when I questioned being gouged they said it was to also cover Labor when they advertise no hourly labor charge just a project charge. They did neither and did not discuss the cost of the refrigerant before servicing. I would have declined and hired someone else or serviced it myself. Additionally they tried to sell me a service plan for an additional $. 234 dollars that only provides two inspections but would reduce my cost of the Refrigerant to a 400 percent mark up instead of 900 percent. They were still going to charge for making visits which essentially is no agreement at all when you can have your entire system inspected once a year for under 100 dollars by almost anybody. These folks, although very skilled are an absolute unethical overpriced business that preys on the elderly. We priced their charges to toe other HVAC companies, one of which was the installer in our relatively new home and their charges, although high were nearly half of what these guys were charging. I would not recommend them to anybody and would , however , I would suggest Angie removing this company from her list

After driving from Washington D.C. specifically to meet them, no one showed up. I called a little after 5 pm, and they were closed. I called the emergency number and was told they would contact me. They never did. Very disappointed especially that I lost a whole day to get this done. I will call first thing in the morning and will report back their response.

It was quick and they were polite.

For basic service & emergencies, they have always been there for us. They have persevered with a couple of difficult problems, but stuck with it till the problem was diagnosed & properly repaired. Thus, we will continue to renew our yearly contracts with them. Their technicians are very polite & helpful with explanations.

Excellent knowledge of what to do, efficient, didn't take a long time

lOOK , i UNDERSTAND SOME FEE NEEDS TO BE PAID REGARDLESS OF WORK DONE. bUT TO RESET A BUTTON ON A SWITCH AFTER BEING THERE FOR 10 MINUTES, AND ONLY 10 MINUTES FROM THE SHOP. sHOULD BE SOME CRITERIA FOR CHARGING A LOWER PRICE WHEN SERVICE WAS NOT REALLY NEEDED.

They were done in one day. Great company. Put a skirt on for no charge. Have used them for many different projects and have never had any problems. Provided preventitive service for no charge.

The adaptor we purchased to have the fans hang at a 45 degree angle only brought it to a 40 degree angle. Chris, the electrician,had to return 3 times to make all the corrections and advise us as to what to do next. The price was not high if the three visits were taken into consideration.

They did find a problem with my heating system and promptly fixed it. I now have a maintenance contract so that any future problems will be covered. They we very courteous and thorough.

I called for service. They replied promptly. Plumber came to make the repair timely. Another pipe began to leak again after he left. I called again and another repairman came Soon thereafter the first pipe began to leak again. I called again. the receptionist answered with an attitude. Someone eventually came to fix it. But, I won't use them again.

We called and reported that our AC was not cooling and what we were hearing soundedl like the compressor was not coming on. The technician arrived when expected and diagonosed the problem as being a bad capacitor preventing the compressor motor from starting. He had the part on his truck and effected the repair immediately. While there he also serviced our AC under the annual service of our service contract. Total cost of the call and repair were covered under our contract.

Megee Plumbing Division, completed the work very professionally. Bill was the Plumber who did the price quote on Monday, and did the install on Wednesday. Megee Electrical Division, completed the work very professionally. The Estimator was Don Disharoon. We did his estimate and called with it in one day. Chris was the Electrician who did the install on Friday. My wife and I are very happy with the professionalism of this company. Their people do a thorough excellent job. They treated our home as if it was their's. We are very happy, with definitely use them again!

Within 10 minutes of arriving the tech diagnose the problem and had the AC running in another 10 minutes. Tech also looked at the entire system and cleaned the coils. I was impressed and purchased a service plan.

McGee charged a $94 diagnostic fee, prior to any repair work being done. Their repair man called me after inspecting the house AC system, and indicated I needed a new compressor valve, as the existing one was badly leaking. He said it was a "rare part," and the he had to order it directly from the manufacturer. The repair man said, McGee utilizes an over-night express service and the part would arrive in 2 days. The fee to repair this leak, I thought was very expensive. The repair man assured me, this was the going rate and it could be a lot worse. Since I already paid the $94, I assumed he was dealing in good faith, and I said, lets get it done. 10 days later no part and no status calls from the company. I called the service tech that was at my house and he said I can not talk to you, you must call the office manager instead. I called the office manager and he was not available, so I left a message. 2 days later, I called the company back, since he did not call me back. 1 day later, I called again leaving another message for him, since he was theoretically not available to manage. I was never able to actually converse with this office manager to discuss the problem. The house was very hot and could not be lived in during this time frame. I decided enough was enough and called another company to do the work. I called the receptionist / gate keeper at McGee and I said, "were done, I am extremely disappointed in the performance, management and lack of response from your company." This other highly rated company I hired, made the same diagnostic discovery, fixed it in a week(they keep this rare part in stock), and did the job for HALF THE COST!!! Perhaps McGee does very well, since people pay the $94 diagnostic fee, then the customer is on hook, why would anyone go to another company at that point? It pays to get more than one estimate, so you can save time, aggravation and money. Be careful with this, "pay up front charge," don't be a fish on a hook.

Was a simple repair but was done well. Technician showed up on time, and the knowledgeable and proficient.

Very well--we prchased the system from Megee.

Excellent. Not an easy job. Took 5 hours. Great platform built and raised high enough that floods will not affect heat pump. Very knowledgeable. Very professional.

Lousy- several weeks of the run around.

NEVER SHOW UP THEY STINK

We then moved to Delaware two years ago and, of course, took out a service contract with Megee on the new property. Called them three days after sending in the contract for emergency A/C service (95 degree day). They apologized because it would take about an hour to get here!!! They came, fixed it, and left us with a cool house within hours. Megee also came to our rescue about six years ago when I arrived at our beach property in the middle of February and realized our hot water heater had stopped working. It was about 8 PM and Megee came out within an hour. The technician said he could have a new hot water heater installed the next morning and by 11 AM the next day it was done. So, the company is great and their technicians are confident, pleasant, efficient and prompt! Would recommend them without question. I do believe that the service contract gives us a priority over anyone else who would call for service but it's worth every penny.

I was satisfied with everything. They were polite. They came in the house with their feet covered. Any questions I had, they would answer them. They were very thorough in what they did. The price was excellent and the quality was good. They were right there when I needed them. They were right on time and very professional.
