Isaac's Asphalt Paving

Description of Work: I needed to black top an extension to my driveway, area. Mr Isaac was prompt and fast to provide an oral estimate (not on paper) and also way too fast in providing services. Right before he came in, it had been raining profusely for few days, I was concerned about the ground being too wet and not in good conditions to be paved on. When I saw his men removing the soil and grass, they listened and agreed with me that it was to wet to pour the gravel and asphalt on . However Mr Issacs himself , gave the order to move on and without listening to my concerns, he said: -" I don't have time for this games, ma'am" . That same day the job was done, (took few hours, US $1,500), he came at night, said "beautiful" and got my check (honestly that was my mistake! to pay him too soon!). He neglected to protect the area with a yellow ribbon, so next morning , wet and soft as it was, a car pulled in and there! its prints still visible now, make paddles when it rains. but that's not all of it,. Two, only two days later, weeds and other leafy plants started to bubble through the new pavement..! I have pictures, called him numerous times, he never answered and when I reported him to the Best Business Bureau, it took three months for him to respond to BBB with a plain, capital letter statement, saying that he didn't use the yellow ribbon because he thought was "unnecessary" and he doesn't even mention the bubbling weeds..!! He is unprofessional, unconsidered, rude, expensive and lousy. I hope this helps someone else not to incur in the same mistakes. Always get another estimate (too bad, I didn't take the time), and don't pay him until you are fully satisfied, or you'll never see that money again. THANK YOU!
