I got an estimate from a first person and it was $664...Mister Sparky came and gave me an estimate for $1200...guess who I went with?? I really liked the guy and he knew what he was doing but price was just too high.

After a windy night, and our power surging off-on-off-on several times we lost power in half our bedrooms. We called Mr. Sparky, who was very busy after the storm, and they gave us a 'window' of time of arrival. They did call about 20-30 minutes before the Technician was to arrive, and he was Spot On Time! Very Professional. However, told us 'We' needed to wiggle plugs to see which one might be burned out. He returned the next day to fix/replace the offending 'bad' plug. ***Very Prompt! Very Professional! Very Friendly! Will call again in the Future!*** All Services were Explained thoroughly before I agreed to any fees....They were very up-front, about their pricing, and explained what they were doing! --Responsiveness a B, because I wish he had been able to fix the bad plug in the one visit, or at least return the same night....not wait until the next day. --Pricing a B, because they should have a coupon on Angie's List! Wave the Service Call Fee maybe for Angie's List Users???

We had to call for service on a Sunday as we had half the power go out at the house. Though the power company came out and replaced the line into the house (it was burnt up) we continued to have problems w/the house. For $150 service fee Mister Sparky came out and assessed our issue on a Sunday afternoon. The technician quickly determined that we had major wire damage in our breaker box from the burnt power line--damage so severe that it was unsafe for power to remain on in that area. He recommended we shut off power and stay in a hotel overnight. They could have fixed it on Sunday but it would have cost an extra $1000, and he suggested we wait until Monday, quoted us a price for the entire day's service ($1870) and helped us set up one pocket of power to preserve our fridge/freezer so we wouldn't lose the contents in the meantime. The technician was very friendly and helpful, pre-arranged on Sunday with power company to have power turned off on Monday morning, did the work as completed and explained what was done. I have a friend who's an electrician in another part of the country and he said the price quoted (and paid) was entirely reasonable. And that we were fortunate the house hadn't burnt down due to the burnt up wires because it was quite bad. I appreciated the prompt and professional service and would recommend this company.

I was looking for an electrician to re-program my whole house generator. They guy came down. He was rated as an A on Angie's List, which was justified. They guy was very professional, cordial and friendly. He explained things to me very well. He couldn’t do all I wanted him to do because the manufacturer wouldn’t let him, he called them. We must have stood in my yard and talked for an hour, like we knew each other for a while. He was great. What he charged me was actually less than what I was quoted. He also left me with a packet explain the different jobs that they do. He really does a lot. He even showed me how to change the starting time for my maintenance on the generator myself.

It went very well, we were only without electric for about 3 hours as they predicted. They arranged everything with the electric company and had a date that was convenient for us. The job was completed as promised and the electrician was very professional in his work.

They did a great job. They get A's for everything. I would use this company again. If they are late, the work is free. I would use this provider again.
