We contacted Diamond State via their website with a request for an estimate and consultation. After hearing nothing for two weeks, we made the request again via Angi's site, and again have heard nothing after three weeks. Aside from being unprofessional, it is highly rude behavior. If they're too busy or don't want the job, fine, but at least have the courtesy to respond.

Excellent quality work. Excellent communication throughout project. Owner does most of the work and is very selective when hiring subcontractors. Very satisfied and would hire again and recommend to others.

He remodeled the whole outside of my house with new siding, windows and dormers. He also does kitchen/baths and decks. I did not have to worry about him doing shoddy work and covering it up. If he made a mistake, he pointed it out to me and immediately fixed it. He takes pride in his work and it shows. I’ve researched a lot of contractors and was extremely happy with them and get so many compliments from my neighbors! He is a busy guy so if you can get him as your contractor it’s worth the wait if he is busy.

Terry and his crew did an amazing job. He is very meticulous, conscientious, paid attention to detail and went above and beyond what was expected. He and his crew were personable, respectful and professional. His rates were very reasonable and I would highly recommend him and would definitely use him again for other projects.

2nd job Terry & Alex did for us. Installed flooring we picked out from Home Depot in Entry, kitchen, dining and laundry rooms. Excellent attention to detail. Perfection on instal and trim work. Work area always clean and neat. On time and great communication. Fair pricing. Highest recommendation. We will always call these guys first.

Amazing. Terry and Alex were on time, always showed up or called when they said they would. They handled all aspects of the job from estimates, drawings permits to final inspection. Terry is proud of his work and it shows. No shortcuts. He does the work as if he is working on his own home. We will use him again!

Terry and Alex are the best of the best! Everything you could possibly want in contractors and more. Terry is highly skilled, detailed oriented, honest and reliable. He is a great communicator and super easy to work and so is Alex. What was so helpful for us was that Terry was able to draw up plans and get all of the necessary permits and provide suggestions based on his wealth of experience. His workmanship is topnotch. He doesn't cut corners and always seems more interested in doing the job right than making money. Another great thing is that while Terry could be a GC and just sub everything out, he does most of the work himself (framing, build deck, flooring, siding, window installs, etc etc) so you know you are getting his perfectionistic touch on your job at a very fair price. I also appreciated patience and flexibility, especially when we decided last minute to open up a kitchen wall and then add a huge window when he was almost done with the siding. Very grateful!

I totally would recommend this company. Terry and his crew were punctual, neat and professional. They showed up when they were supposed too. The job took a few days to complete and the finished garage looks wonderful. New roof, windows, new doors, power washed cinderblock, painted it and built a stoop to keep the rain water from washing in. Did more than I can remember. Also helped with some things needing attention on the house. They were very polite, and cleaned up afterwards. I definitely would and will call on Diamond State again. Thank you Terry and crew. Owner Terry Lanes and the Diamond state contractor company did an excellent job. I experienced a terrible fire while being 5 months pregnant. They even finish the before the estimated due date. They always keep me informed of all work being done and where they was at with the project at hand. I couldn't ask for a better job.

We decided to go with another contractor but would not hesitate to recommend Diamond State and would be happy to work with them in the future. The timing was off this time - we needed work done quickly and due to their busy schedule, we weren't able to work together this time.

Terry, the owner, was very professional, courteous, and on-time. He detailed every aspect of the job to you in a way that would make sense, and would let me know immediately if any issues arose due to unforeseen circumstances. He was always quick in his responses and very easy to communicate with if I had any questions. Terry, the owner of Diamond State Contractors, was extremely personable and professional. Terry met with us several times before starting the project and provided us with a detailed outline, with pricing and timeline, of all the work to be performed. Terry made suggestions and offered his expertise but never pressured us to comply with his suggestions. He is punctual, a perfectionist and honest contractor. Our four season sunroom turned out beautiful and I would highly recommend Terry and Diamond State Contractors and would most definitely hire them again for another project.

The construction went very well. The deck turned out great and I have gotten many compliments on it. It is quality work, done for a decent price.

Terry was great. He was always professional, on time and conscientious about the work performed. We have been repeatedly told by inspectors and others who have seen the porch that "your contractor really did a great job!" We would hire Terry again in a heart beat and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor.

It went so smoothly, my friends & neighbors were awed. Workmanship is top-notch. You can't go wrong w. Diamond State Contractors. Now I will not use any one else; even for the "small jobs". If you want it done right the first time, use Diamond State Contractors. His workers are highly skilled and he surveys every part of the job, every day!

He removed all the railings, decking and the access ramp to the deck and is great at noticing all the details. We did not need to replace the joists and supports, but they were covered with mold/mildew. Terry suggested the existing structure be power washed prior to rebuilding the deck. He replaced the ramp with a new staircase and landing. The staircase is more solid than the rock of Gibraltar even though we live at the beach and it is built on a sand dune. In fact, every visitor has commented just how solid and how beautiful the new structure is. All the deck planks which are trex select are tight. Every deck screw used is in line like the edge of a ruler. All corners are sharp and well cut. The railings are solid and secure. Terry is not just a builder, he is a craftsman in the old world tradition. He treated our home like it was his own and the project like he was doing it for his own family. Terry will make suggestions regarding details to make the project better while realizing he is spending your money. He does not push things on you but educates you as to why other options might be a better way of doing things. His clean up is beyond reproach. If it weren't for the finished project, you would not know he had been there except that the area might just be a bit neater than when he started. We are getting ready to do our next project and are looking forward to having Terry do it. He is not just a builder, he is our builder.
