I gave these people high marks with their work. I give them a low rating for their prices. My Story so you can be the judge: My GFCI (General fault circuit interrupt) outlet in the kitchen went bad.The right side button was stuck inward and the outlet as well as the other three outlets in the kitchen were not working. I was feeling sick that day.I took a covid test to make sure it wasnt covid,which turned up negative,but went positive 24 hours later. So I hired these folks to take care of the problem.THey were here for about 40 minutes,give or take a few. Very professional,no complaints in that department. My final bill , including a 5% senior citizens discount was $302.10. This is for 1 receptacle. I dont like giving bad reviews and have only done so a couple of times,but to me that was very pricey for what was done. So you make the decision based on my words. Would I hire them again? Not at that price.Nope. I did eventually get covid , so I was sick the morning they came out.It took weeks for me to figure out and come to my senses to realize what I did. Im embarrassed because the problem is something I could have fixed myself. Thats my peace. I have the receipt for proof and will probably put it in a picture frame for a reminder. Again,the 2 that came out were very professional. 10-10-2022

INSTALLED IMPROPERLY AND TO LOW... CAME BACK FEW DAYS LATER WHEN I COMPLAINED , SAID WANTED $30.OO PER HOUR MORE TO ADD ONE FOOT LONGER WIRE AND RAISE LIGHT HIGHER! TOLD ME MAY TAKE 2,3,4 HOURS.NOTE ALL SUPPLIES WHERE SUPPLED BY ME...... TOLD TO LEAVE WILL NOT PAY ANY MORE MONEY PERIOD. TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME A SENIOR CITIZEN!!!!!!

I can always count on Towles Electric to do the job right the first time. They also coordinated this job with the gas company as this is a natural gas whole house stand by generator that was being installed that requires an electric and gas company to perform work. They are punctual and clean up everything when done. Their work always passes inspection the first time. This job required the outside installation of the generator plus an electrical run from the garage, into the basement, all the way across the basement and back outside to meet the generator. It was a very long electrical run.

They offered the best price out of 4 contractors. They installed a new electrical box with upgraded electrical service, from a 150 amp service to a 200 amp service. The problem is with their trenching to lay the underground wires. They cut 4 of my irrigation lines and told me they had repaired them. They did not, I had to call an irrigation specialist to do the repairs. They did not fill in the trench they dug. They over laid it with dirt and told me it would settle in on top of the pipe and wire! The first rain we had the yard had a long line of holes about a foot deep. I called them to complain and they sent the same 2 men that caused the problem in the first place. They covered with some dirt, but the gash of 2 feet long is still there waiting for someone to step in it and break their leg! I have been calling and getting their answering service all week complaining about their men not repairing the cut irrigation lines and no one has called me back. I would not recommend this company!
