Mr. Gearhart sent a guy over and looked at the vent and gave me an estimate. I said awesome and when can you do it. He said now and it would take me an hour or so. He went to get some stuff came back and was done as promised. Now my roof looks great again with no patches and more importantly no leaks. I should have called them right away.

Jerry came to the house for a estimate when he said he would. He was the most professional of al the people that I had to give me a an estimate . His crew showed up on time and date scheduled. This was a large job but went well.

I called five different roofing/construction contractors to give me a quote on shingling four shed roofs. Although promised, three never showed up. For one company (I'll call "X Company") I left a phone message giving my name, address and phone number. "X Company" arrived one morning without returning my call, came unprepared to take measurements, had to return to drop off samples and a price quote, and although their price was $500 cheaper, I did not feel confident they would do a good job since they were so unprofessional up to that point. I also checked with Lowes on the shingle samples left behind by the two companies that did offer a quote and was told "X Company's" product was significantly cheaper and of poor quality. I called "X Company" to inform them they did not get the job, was told they would pick up their samples but they never did. J and L Construction Company arrived at the designated time, came prepared with tape measure and paper to write down the dimensions of each building, offered samples of the shingles and quoted a price before leaving. When I called to say J and L Construction Company had the job, they informed me they would start within two weeks. They called prior to arriving to confirm date and time was acceptable. The work was accomplished as promised. The two-man crew was very professional and polite. They even asked permission to pull their vehicles on to the grass. They ensured the area was clean of debris before they left and offered to leave the remaining unused shingles from one bundle. I would highly recommend J and L Construction Company to family and friends. If I need a construction contractor in the future, they are the first ones I will turn to.
