Description of Work: Broken water pipes needed repairs immediately . 3 pipes had broken and were all repaired that same evening so that we could turn our water supply back on and use for showers, washer and dryer, etc.

Description of Work: Replaced a leaking hose bibb on my house. I have no complaints, other than the price. The hose bibb was $50, but the labor was $129! Seems pretty steep.

+ -1 moreWe first called this company in about 2004 because we were considering replacing our water heater; we were able to get an appointment within a couple of days of our call. The technician arrived promptly, and evaluated our water heater. He told us that the unit we already had was quite adequate for our needs, was an excellent model, and was working perfectly; there was really no need for us to replace it. I couldn't believe such honesty! The charges were for the service call and were under $100.00. When I needed plumbing work this time, I called them again, and would have hired them if it weren't for their prices. Their current scale is $129.00 for the first hour and $79.00 for each additional hour plus parts as needed. It is too bad, because their work was first rate. I finally chose another company whose work is also excellent (I have used them before, too.) but with a better rate scale at $79.00 per hour flat rate.
Description of Work: I called Messina about some basic plumbing work: repairing a leaky faucet, and installing three new faucet sets. I had used this company before, 2004 I think, and had been very impressed with their work. At that time, we were considering replacing our water heater, which was almost ten years old and we had thought it had come to the end of its service life. I called them first this year when I needed some basic plumbing work.
