I am so pleased with my new porch! Andrew and his team were not only professional but friendly & easy to work with. They gave me with advice & suggestions when needed & kept me informed of the progress of the work. They were always on time and courteous. The porch ended up being a full remodel & really is beautiful. I am also very happy with my new concrete patio & privacy fencing that they were all part of my project.

Contractor Extraordinaire! Best way to describe the professionalism, expertise and workmanship of A.W. Viohl Contractors. Our faith community had a wing of our building that was an ineffective set of four rooms and too much hallway. What might have served a purpose 15 years ago no longer met the needs of our church and its mission. I issued a RFP (Requests for Proposal) to several contractors. This was a big project: four classrooms and a hallway had to be turned into a multipurpose hall, a kitchen was being moved from one part of the church to the end where the new hall would be located, a storeroom was going to be constructed, and the bathrooms were going to be upgraded. Several good contractors had to excuse themselves after they realized how big the project was going to be, especially within the budget constraints of our church. A.W.Viohl won the contract, and immediately we realized that our decision was correct. This project not only needed an outstanding contractor: that outfit had to have the access and relationships with an architect, master plumber and master electrician that could pull this job off. It took a few weeks for us to get the necessary building permits, but the architect was relentless: meeting with us on the weekends when necessary and getting all of the specifications the county needed for our plan to be approved. Demolition proceeded with minimal disruption, and concerns, such as dust, were brought up: they were resolved immediately. I started an album set on Facebook for my faith community documenting each weekly success. At the point that flooring was needed, we further enjoyed access to an outstanding supply shop, and the church's "esthetics team" reported the outstanding service experience they enjoyed along with extremely competitive prices for the materials we needed: so much so that the contracted expanded to install new flooring all the way to the main entrance of the church! The A.W. Viohl team includes a master tile craftsman: Brent made the tile floors in the new bathrooms and new kitchen look spectacular! New bathrooms, a performance kitchen with excellent electrical and plumbing support, and adequate ventilation: elements of our new "Mission Hall". This multipurpose room can comfortably accommodate an aerobics class; it masterfully acts as a polling station for New Castle County; and it can host a formal party or reception for 75 or more guests. Our church now has the facility it needed to carry out some of its mission projects with a hall that we can be proud of, that met our needs, and stayed within our budget due to the outstanding work performed by A.W. Viohl Contracting!!

They were prompt, fair, worked out anything we needed done. Did patio and a deck. Just did very good overall work.

Couldn't ask for better. Was getting ready to sell the house. They did deck, interior, framing, painting, and all kinds of work for us. I will be using them in the future and have been recommending them to others.

A. W. Viohl installed exterior basement doors for us, removing and replacing the deteriorated doors and steps and installing the new ones. It was a difficult job, with many challenges, but they were prompt and responsive throughout the project. Now we have a dry basement!

I recently had my bathroom refinished by A.W. Viohl Contractracting and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the beginning of the job Andrew help me with a lot of details that were very helpful, he has a excellent crew working for him. They kept me informed what they were doing and what the next step of the project would be, they were always punctual & polite. I do plan on other projects in near future and I will call on them again. Andrew believes in making the customer happy,and he has done that right down to a very competitive price & excellent workmanship . They handled a complete rebuild of a large deck from the foundation up, granite counter top installation, and two bathroom remodels. The finished product was excellent. Matt is an easy guy to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend this company.
