Keim Fence & Construction

Bobby Keim did a great job. Keim Construction is from Lower Delaware, but I'm not sure exactly where. There was a lot of work involved and it wasn't just putting up a fence. Bobby had to tear down the old stuff and take out a couple of trees and so forth. The second one was ripping out the old fence and putting in the new one. Bobby also shored up a fence which was in bad repair as well. Bobby Keim went beyond the call of duty and actually did more stuff than we asked him to do and he didn't charge for it. The prices were good. The first time, we went and got competitive bids and Keim Construction was the second best. So we were pleased with Bobby's price. He is very responsive as we changed some of the designs on the spot and he went with it. He also does railings and we need some railings, so we will use Keim Construction's services in the future.

He did a really good job. I'm going to have him come back and replace another fence that the dog went through. They had suggestions on what to do to make it fit the lay of the land. They had to really clear a path. I had a fence that was basically ensnarled by trees, etc that had been there since the 50's. It took a bobcat to clear it out, which they did. They also helped me salvage the copper wire in the old fence. They did a good job and then hauled everything away. They had to use a large dumpster and was a lot more than they expected. They also had to dig out some large stumps and so forth. They had the fence made somewhere and brought it in to put it up. There was a problem, after it was done, the gate began to sag. I think the problem was they did anchor it enough. They came back and did that at no charge. They cleaned up after themselves really well. The price was fair. It was hard to schedule the work but I'm not unhappy with it. It was two young kids basically doing this on their own. They both have full time jobs. I think they were very professional for the amount of experience they had.

I had used him and his father previous to this to repair a fence. He wasn't the cheapest bid but we went with him because we felt he could be trusted. The job was done very quickly, on time and cleaned up very well. He asked questions about what we wanted and was responsive to a couple of things we wanted changed. I would use him again in the future.
