I have used Mr. Donahue and his crew for several projects. Everyone is friendly and professional. The quality of work is always excellent. Communication and scheduling are very easy. Would use again for sure.

Roof leaked after first rain & it’s still leaking. His company’s not bonded so he refuses to come out to repair. It’s raining as I type & we have pots all over kirchen collecting water.

Dave and his team have been great. I had a fairly large project, all new window, all new siding, stair tread replacement and trimming out the windows on the inside. Dave and his team were excellent throughout the whole process. They did our screened in porch as well and it is excellent workmanship. Found a few other things that needed to get done and Dave and his team were able to accomodate. Highly recommend Dave Donohue! Trust me, you will like him and he is responsive. I am going to hire him to do our floor replacements as well.

They did an excellent job. David is a super nice guy and they are an honest company. I would definitely use them again and I would highly recommend them.

Honestly I can not believe how many "A" ratings have been given. Dave is a nice enough guy, but I never got invoices for half of the work done. His crew consisted of unqualified kids most of the time. The work performed was not as described. They are sloppy workers. And the paint job I had done last year, I am having to re-do right now. They never took the old peeling paint off and now it is a mess. I had shingles blow off of my new roof and he never responded to me about it. I could go on and on. I am mad. Do not recommend doing business with this company. 3/3/2021 This company did my rood 4 years ago, and I left a bad review then. Now, 4 years later, I had to have my entire roof redone, another 15.000! Donahue did a crap job, didn't replace rotten plywood, weaving in valleys was wrong, no cricket behind chimney, drip edges not installed properly.

Dave was very friendly, honest, responsive and professional. I will use him again for my next project. Dave is someone you can trust to get the job done right.

I worked with Mr. David N. Donahue on the siding of my house. The house project included removing old siding and foam board, replacing with new foam board and siding, and putting up new Azek trim with molding. He and his small crew did an AMAZING JOB on my house! I could not be more pleased. The crew was prompt each day, communication was easy, and it was just overall a job well done. David had many options for me to pick from as the project rolled along and it was easy to talk each one through to arrive at a decision. At the end of each day’s work, the crew cleaned up the various materials that were being removed from the house (foam board, nails, siding, and slivers of this and that). Azek was shipped to my house from another company; it was shipped dirty. Right away David requested that this material be sent back and that brand new, in the package, material be shipped to the house. Dave even noticed an existing issue with the triple window and fixed it properly (something the previous company should’ve done). Overall, the project was super smooth and professionally done. The yard was cleaned up daily. I absolutely love the house now and how the windows pop. I am getting so many compliments on the workmanship as well! I will definitely be going to Dave for my roofing needs in the near future!

The windows look fantastic. David provided ideas and solutions for the many challenges of replacing windows in a very old and crooked home. He did a great job! The outside noise has decreased so much and the home almost looks new again.

The assessment of the needed repairs was well noted, the attention to minute details was appreciated. The repair work was done in a timely fashion, very professional. He even checked other areas, other than originally requested, to make sure things were as should be. It's such a wonderful feeling to know that your problem was taken care of in such a caring way. I want my doors redone, and you can be sure I'll call David.

It went great. I called Mr. Donahue and he was able to come out, give me an estimate and complete the work within a week. Mr. Donahue replaced my flooring and I have already hired him for another project, an all season room. He also adjusted several windows with no charge, He was always punctual and very easy to deal with. His employees were all professional. Highly recommend!

I called Mr. Donahue the week of November 21st to arrange a time to look at the properties and get an estimate. He explained that he was in the midst of a project and that he was also moving to another home but he would be available either that Saturday, the 26th (the preferred day) or Sunday, the 27th following the Thanksgiving holiday to meet with us. We do not live where the properties are located but were planning to be in the area for that weekend so this arrangement worked perfectly. Mr. Donahue called on that Sunday to apologize for not meeting on Saturday and wanted to meet that morning. Unfortunately we were in church. By the time we got in contact with Mr. Donahue, he said the "window of opportunity" to meet had been missed; he still had lots of moving to do. He was only available for a small portion of the morning. He had a window job early in the week and perhaps we could meet on Tuesday or Wednesday of the week. I told him I had to travel back but my brother could stay over on Monday. I wasn't sure if his schedule would allow him to stay over longer than that. With that I asked if it were alright to call him back later that day to arrange a time to meet. He said absolutely. We called back around 3 pm or so on Sunday afternoon. Mr. Donahue was not available so we left a message asking him to call us as soon as possible to set a meeting time especially since we may have to arrange time off from work in order to travel back to the area to meet him. We did not receive a return call until Monday morning, the 28th. Again Mr. Donahue apologizes for not responding to our call on Sunday. He explained that he has 2 phones and he didn't have this particular phone readily available while he was moving so he missed the call. He was on his way to another job in Delaware when he checked his messages and heard our voicemail. He contacted my brother and agreed to turn around and meet my brother that morning. Mr. Donahue arrived on time to meet my brother and answer his questions regarding each property. Mr. Donahue mentioned he had a larger project to complete that week but he planned to have the estimate and send it by via by the end of the week as my brother requested a written estimate for both properties. By the following week Monday, December 5th, there was still no estimate. My brother call Mr. Donahue to inquire about the estimate. Mr. Donahue mentioned that he'd just received info for the estimate but his computer broke down and he need to take the computer to be serviced and if the computer not repairable, he'd have to buy a new one. Nonetheless, he'd get the estimate to us. To date, we have not received an estimate. I have call Mr. Donahue twice and left a message. Still no return call. I called yet again today, December 19th, but the phone just rang; I didn't leave a message. I wanted to reach out more time before leaving this feedback. I'm not sure what could have happened to warrant a non-response. My brother felt comfortable that Mr. Donahue was capable of making the repairs and he seemed genuinely interested in doing the work. It is disheartening to have taken the time to meet with Mr. Donahue but we can't get the estimate...let alone schedule the work! Mr. Donahue was in Delaware (an hour away from our properties) the day he turned around to come meet my brother. Why expend the effort, time, money and gas to meet and not follow through with the estimate? I am so exasperated/annoyed by this behavior. Let's not waste each others' time. Contractors, please....if you are not interested in the job regardless of the reason, let the customer know so we can move on. We, the customer, in good faith, are trusting that you will keep your word, provide timely estimates, etc. One of the houses has water coming into a window that needs attention now. Mr. Donahue said he understood the concern and want to help resolve the problem. Now we are back to square one. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise. Who knows how the repairs would have gone. On to the next...

Excellent! We couldn't be more pleased. He repaired storm damaged north side of home & upgraded roof. We're going to hire him for other projects too.

The entire process ran quite smoothly- Mr. Donahue came out to check the problem, came up with a solution and arrived to do the work on the day scheduled. The entire team worked very efficiently and were very, very polite. The finished product looks great. Cost was reasonable and Mr. Donahue noted on invoice that if there were any further problems in the next year, he would come right out and address them. Do not expect problems but that does give you peace of mind.

Repair looks great, no way I could have done work myself - 30 feet up. I worked out the price based on other estimates.

It took a little longer than we anticipated. We had some bad weather and some unanticipated problems with the old construction. All in all they did a great job. It turned out better than I anticipated. He and his crew were friendly and professional. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dave installed new siding on my home a year ago. I was so pleased with his company's work that I rehired him to do work on the inside. They did an outstanding job as usual and I couldn't be happier. They even re-caulked existing crown molding that someone else had installed at no cost. I would definitely rehire them.

I reached out to David to have eleven single pane windows replaced with double hung vinyl replacements. I was very pleased with job David and his team of guys. So pleased, in fact, that I gave them additional work. The additional work consisted of hanging trim throughout the house, staining plus adding a clear coat, and finally, tiling the kitchen floor.

David Donahue and his guys did a great job. Work looks great and I thought the price was reasonable. It was a little hard to get him out to my place because he was so busy, but I figure a good contractor should be busy. I don't want a guy that doesn't have anything better to do. And my job wasn't an emergency. David is very friendly and easy to deal with. Don't hesitate to call him for your job.
