Description of Work: Jeff from RPM was to put in two ceiling fans. Arrival time 8 A.M. for 4 hours

Description of Work: Roberts Property Management replaced skylights at our beach home. They have also fixed our railings, our widows walk, and our siding. We have been using Dennis Roberts' company in many ways since we first built our home in 1985. The ocean can do a great deal of damage and Dennis has always made sure that every repair was done in a timely and cost efficient manner.

Description of Work: They pressure washed my house, and they painted a pre-fabricated metal chimney.

Description of Work: They did some exterior and interior painting.

Description of Work: Help design, specified materials, obtained building permits and constructed extensive ground decking originally destroyed by hurricane Sandy. Project included excavation, concrete footings to code and maintenance free composite materials. This is only one example of the of the many projects, large and small performed over the years, all to our satisfaction and delight.

Description of Work: For the last 3 years RPM repaired and replaced cedar siding on all sides of the house. Also, they repaired issues related to the original builder's failure to adhere to good building practices.

Description of Work: We needed discolored and cracked grout in part of a shower to be replaced in our vacation home. Dennis seemed professional and capable of doing the work. We never saw him after that, sending an employee to do the work. The employee was nice, responsive and seemed to know what he was doing even when we questioned how the work would be completed when he was having trouble removing grout. When we returned to our home after the work was completed, it was a shock to see that the grout color was not the same as the rest of the shower, the grout line ended haphazardly and not in an inconspicuous area, and there were spots that had been missed. The charge for the job was a concern as an estimate was given but was qualified that he charges by the hour so the final bill could be different. The final bill was approximately $900. When my husband expressed his disappointment in the job, we were told to pay what we felt was fair. It looks like a shoddy job and we aren't happy with it, but it solved our problem of cracked and darkened grout and it was in a bathroom that only my husband and I would see. So we sent a check for just over 1/2 of the bill. In the future, we intend to have to have the grout removed and replaced again at an additional expense. To his credit, Dennis sent back the check with a letter of apology stating that it wouldn't be right to accept payment for the job. And that "we were just not up to the task". Although I would not use the services of Roberts Property again, I appreciate his handling of the situation.

Description of Work: We did not end up using this company because we had a family member provide the service. However, the price was very reasonable and the company's owner, Dennis Roberts, is professional, courteous and very pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will keep their contact information should their services be required in the future.

Description of Work: Removed two defective skylights and replaced with two new operable skylights

Description of Work: I would never recommend Dennis. He comes across as a nice guy, wants to be helpful, but he did not complete one project, but never hesitated to ask for another $2500, that was his favorite number. Patiently waited four months for him to start job - I have never been as disappointed in someone as I was with Dennis.

Description of Work: Roberts Property Management did some insulation work. It was like a crawl space upgrade where they covered the crawl space. I had some electrical wires that had fallen down and they upgraded some electrical work for me. They also did a good repair job on the air ducts.

Description of Work: Miscellaneous fix projects (align door that wouldn't lock, add banister to garage stairs, put up door to basement)

Description of Work: Roberts' came out to do some wood rot damage and I had them do some other work after they did a whole house inspection...Instead of replacing the roof, which a roofing contractor had recently recommended, Roberts' repaired the roof with the thinking that I can hopefully get 3-5 years out of it....they relocated the dryer vent for efficiency, did a crawl space inspection with some simple solutions to make the house more energy efficient and they power washed the whole residence.

Description of Work: Removed siding and rotted plywood. Wet insulation replaced, rotted sheeting, covered plywood. Reinstalled siding. Replaced vents, removed all debris.

Description of Work: The wood surrounding the outside of my garage door was rotting. They replaced it with material that was not wood and carried away all the debris from tearing out the old wood. Bruce arrived on time and was professional. I will be contacting them in the fall for a formal estimate for the replacement of my roof and spouting.

Description of Work: Hang bi-fold doors, hand bathroom cabinet, build shed.
