Everything went like clockwork on the scheduled day. They arrived on time(8:10) and by 5:30 or so everything had been done and unit was operational. The county inspector came during this time for the preliminary inspection. They also scheduled the electrical inspection which was done a few days later. The system is not a whole house generator but almost everything in the house was put on it except the second air conditioner and the wall oven.We have several pumps that use a lot of energy so that used a lot of the circuits. These guys all worked well together and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend them. The price was not the lowest,but almost the lowest(the lowest was from PA and was not too familiar with New Castle County regulations).

They are great. They are fine. The price was reasonable. My daughter was very happy with their service. They were very responsive. They were early.

The 2 men who came showed up on time, they took their shoes off before coming into my home. (Which I love!) They were very understanding of the fact that we just moved in and had 2 dogs and had to move them from room to room. They were here for 4 hours (originally they quoted 4-5 hours). They were very professional and courteous! We will definatley be using them for any projects in the future! Thank you so much!

Showed up on time and did the tasks of installing outdoor light on deck and doorbell chime quickly and efficiently. Very professional. I will use them again for electrical work.

Pace gave me a free quote explained in the quote proposalthat I would not be charged more than the quote and also will not be charged if the work was done sooner. The quote was for 5 hours of labor and materials. $55 / hour and $140 in materials. Other companies didn't call me back or had exorbitant prices. Mallie and his partner were at my house a few mins before they were scheduled--awesome. Everything worked out better than expected. The job took 2 hours and change, they charged 3 hours for the overall bill. I was good with that, since they were so quick and the job was done very clean. Also, there were cinder blocks about two inches behind each wall. No one knew what was behind the drywall or if it was drywall or plaster. Luckily, they brought some shallow outlet boxes that fit perfectly. I would recommend this company to future customers.

Finding reasonable electricians is not easy and I thought $110 was a very reasonable price. He did a really nice job. He cleaned up after himself.

I live in area that backs up to county land containing very old and lofty trees. Since the utility lines are also at the back of my property and are all above ground, we lose electric often whenever a large branch falls in a wind/rain/ice storm. Not wanting to go through another winter of small propane space heaters and lanterns, I had a large generator (Generax) installed to fix the problem. Although now that I've spent the money, I've probably asssured my neighborhood that we'll never again lose electric, I found that working with Pace was a pleasure. All/any of the people who did the large amount of work both inside and out were professional and intensely seemed to know exactly what they were doing. The response from Corrine in the office was top of the line....I couldn't have asked for better. When trying to decide which company to use for this project, I even called on another company for an estimate, and they ultimately told me that they use Pace for much of the work that they subcontract! Ken and his expert technicians came out to my home, measured, calculated, saw what was needed, and did all the required work to professionally install all of the equipment to do the job (which included an additional complete electric panel, right next to the existing one). Originally, Ken wanted to put the generator itself under a tree in which case some of the roots would have had to be cut. I asked him to move the planned location to a clear, flat area that would simply require more gas piping and he agreed to the additional work for no additional cost. Pace used Pro Works for their natural gas line installation, and they were equally as professional and expert at their job. As of this review, my neighborhood has not recently lost any power, so the generator itself has not been automatically activated in any electrical outage, but it has responded perfectly through all the tests it has undergone, so I am very confident it will work fine when needed. This project took much longer than I had expected, but that was because I was not always available for the techs to get into my home when they wanted, because of the holidays, and because each step had to wait for county inspectors (electrical and natural gas) to OK the work that had been completed before they could go on to the next part of the job. Also, I gave Pace a "B" on their cost, because I think that ANY and ALL charges for anything and everything today are way too high. But I'm VERY happy with the results, happy with Pace and Pro Works, and HIGHLY recommend them. UPDATE: OMG!!! With two trees down on my property during the 2/5/14 ice storm, one of them sadly took out the power for my side of our street. In the midst of electrical arcing fireworks in my backyard, and the tree next to the power pole on fire, all power in my home went out for perhaps a second, at which time the generator came on. I had almost full power in my home for the two plus days that my neighbors were dark and cold. I almost felt guilty.... my tree caused the problem, but my house was cozy, warm and bright. Pace told me that if the generator was on for more than 3 days straight, they'd come out and oil it for me and check it out. They have been great! When I call them, they ALWAYS have responded in very short order. The power came back on for the neighborhood after 2 1/2 days, so all was well, but the results of my dealings with Pace have been wonderful and much appreciated!!

The electrician and his assistant arrived earlier than scheduled and completed the work in a timely manner. They consulted with us when they had questions. The work was performed neatly and in a courteous manner.

I was not available at the time. The person did the service while I was away. However, I checked the generator over and did not see any problems. While it appears that the service was done correctly, I felt the price was high for the amount of work performed as it was limited to the generator itself and not inspection of the electrical box inside the house. I do not know how long it took but I would assume that it was no more than an hour as the work was preventive maintenance in nature and did not get any indication that it was otherwise. I do not know what is the going price for this type of work at other companies as at the time I needed to get this done as I was going out of town for a couple of weeks and PACE was given good reviews so I went with them. However, I will be shopping around the next time and would consider going with them again if their pricing is competitive with other electrical service companies.

A guy from the company came out and I was really pleased with him. A couple of years ago, I had someone install the attic fan and he told me that I needed two attic fans so he installed one on each side of the attic. One of the fans was broken when the Pace guy came because the motor or something had burned out. The other one was still working and its thermostat just needed to be lowered. He lowered the thermostat in the attic so that it would work properly and told me that I did not need two attic fans. He could have sold me another attic fan but he told me that I did not need it and he was right. I was really impressed with that and he saved me the money. I would definitely use him again because I like people who do not try to sell you unnecessary things. It was a good experience.

Ken and crew were efficient and professional at all times. Carefully explained each detail of the installation and cleaned up after the work was done. My wife and I could not be happier with the final results!

iPace Services installed a 17KW standby generator with a smart switch. Top notch business that gives a single price to complete the job. During the inspection, the plumbing inspector requested posts to be installed in front of the generator. This was not apart of the quote, but Pace installed what was necessary without increasing the cost of the job. I would highly recommend this company for all your electrical needs.

On my call to their office that I was depended on the chairlift to go from one floor to the other, and now could not, the woman in the office said she would try to squeeze me into their schedule for the next day, which she did. The 2 men that came were knowledgeable, pleasant, and efficient. Their subsequent repairs were done in the same manner. For the total time spent, and for replacement of defective items, I was expecting to pay possibly 400 or $500. They left without requesting any compensation, saying the office would be mailing me a bill. When it came a couple days later it was only $156!

We found them on Angie's List. They were fabulous and so responsive. It was $700 for the first work. Then we had them come back out again, and it was another $150 because we wanted additional work. They were super friendly and professional on the phone. They were super friendly and professional when they came out and gave us the estimate. They were on time, reasonable and thorough. They came out and did the work right on time. They ran into some challenges and explained exactly what was going on and why so we would understand our options. We could choose the less expensive route or the more expensive route. They didn’t try to sell us. They said here are our two choices and here are the pros and cons. There was no high pressure sale. They were great. When we called them back again, they worked us into their schedule because that was sort of an emergency situation. They came right out and fixed the issue. We absolutely would use them again in the future.
