Mike was referred to me by a neighbor and was the only contractor out of the 5 I called who had a "can do" attitude, worked when he needed to, and was responsive to my questions and changes. He didn't laugh at my budget (as the self professed #2 deck builder in DE did). He obtained all permits and inspections. My job was getting HOA approval and that took longer to get than to build the deck. (No one had ever approved a 36 ft deck here.) I was able to get approval for a deck but it took me another year to get County and HOA approval to screen in half of the deck. (Pricing listed is for both jobs) Deck is Timber Tech. He was very picky to choose contractors who share his values for getting the job done right. Mike does a lot of remodeling and building in addition to decks.
