When Alex quoted resurfacing our driveway, he was very specific what work would be done and what to expect going forward. Quality of work was exactly like he indicated. Friendly and easy to deal with. Would recommend their company to others.

Work was performed first thing in the morning, we are very happy with the quality of work, the driveway looks excellent, the workers were polite, organized, knowledgeable and cleaned up the area once the job was complete. All equipment used was new, all practices used showed high levels experience. A+++

All the good reviews are the reason I went with them also the lowest price (mistake to go with lowest price, get what you paid for) but what I experienced was not good at all, make sure your happy with the work BEFORE you hand them your check because once it’s deposited it’s to late. Would not recommend them at all. Highly disappointed.

Alex and his crew are great. They explained what they were going to do and answered all my questions. Everyone was friendly, patient and hard-working. They didn't scrimp on materials... added more stone and thicker pavement than I expected. The surface is flawless. Smooth, tight, no washboarding. My neighbor came by and was so impressed that he ordered two driveways for his property. Alex's crew jumped on that as soon as mine was finished. This was one of best contractor experiences I've had.

We have had 2 asphalt driveways: The original when the house was built in 1971 and one put on top of that 20+ years ago. It was now loaded with cracks, which I tried to fill, but they reopened (even wider) after every winter. The asphalt had obviously lost its flexibility/was brittle, so it was time for a new driveway. I checked Angie's list for highly rated contractors and ultimately landed on Alex Evans Asphalt Paving. I contacted Alex about doing the driveway. He came to look at it the next day, explained what he would do in detail, and what it would cost. I liked the "cut of his jib" so said "Go!" His crew showed up at 8:30am the next day and the job was completed by 1:00pm … today (I'm writing this only a few hours after the job was done). Alex anticipated that the foundation (the original driveway) was probably sound and, after skiving off the old 2nd driveway, deemed it so. So what we got was a cover-over of the original driveway. It looks fabulous, and we're very happy with the end result and with our interaction with the contractor.

The Alex Evans crew removed the 10 year old repaving and repaved the driveway using two coats of asphalt. They cleaned up the edges and flattened the low spots. They did a great job at the interface between the new paving and my existing stone pavers of my front walk and my rear patio. The removed the old surface and hauled away all the debris on one day. The repaving was delayed one day because of heavy rain. The result looks great. The crew did a great job of cleaning up afterward. They avoided any damage to my lawn too. I'm very happy with the result and the price seemed very fair. I'm planning to seal the new surface in the fall.

Great! Alex Evans was very responsive, he did not pressure us, he was professional and his employees were great as well. The job was done much faster than I expected, everything was cleaned up nicely and it looks so great. Our family is very happy.

The company was responsive and efficient. We were able to get an estimate, and get the work scheduled and done in the same week. The driveway looks good.

Jesse came out within a day of my initial contact and provided a written estimate on the spot. Although I had at least one previous estimate that was a bit lower, I wanted the job done right. Jesse gave me the confidence that it would be. Alex and his crew were right on time on the day the job was to be done. After they began work, they discovered that a previous coat of overlay had been incorrectly applied and might lead to early cracking of a new layer over it. Alex offered the option to go ahead as originally planned with the understanding that the new driveway might not last as long or to tear out all of the existing driveway at higher cost and put down all new material. After a short discussion, we were able to agree on what I considered a reasonable additional cost and so approved putting down all new material. It's only been a day, but the driveway looks great and we hope to get many years of good use out of it. I don't hesitate to recommend Alex Evans Paving.

Alex responded to my message within 15 minutes and was at my house to give an estimate 10 minutes later. He works a lot in this area. Within 30 minutes, Alex emailed a written estimate that explained everything the crew would do. Alex is very professional and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. I felt well-informed about the project. Two days later, the work began. The crew came even slightly ahead of schedule, Alex stopped by to check on their progress, and the completed work looks great. I'm very happy to have a driveway that looks great, but more importantly, is a lot safer.

Alex's team did a fantastic job resurfacing my very steep, long driveway. I had him come back today to sealcoat it and once again they knocked it out of the park. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

Work was done while we were away on vacation. Completed on time, on budget. Clean work area on project completion.

I called and got several estimates and Alex was punctual,honest and his price was fair. He came out measured everything and explained some different options we had. They came out and done everything got it all done in one day. Everything was cleaned up when they got it done and it looks great. His price wasn't the cheapest but it was in the mix with the other estimates we got. I feel that the quality was really worth it. I'm a contractor so I know a lot about construction and these guys did me a really good job. I would highly recommend them.
