My husband and I spent a lot of time researching , when we came to A.Parker contracting. We knew Alex was the guy for the job. He spent a lot of time with us explaining how he was going to the roof and gutters and alway kept us informed during the job . Alex and his team was efficient , thorough and came out always on time.If you need expertise,solid workmanship and fair pricing definitely look at Alex he was a absolute pleasure to deal with !!

We had a great experience with Alex and his crew! We purchased our fixer upper almost five years ago. It has Cedar Plank siding and we expected a lot of issues, which we got. The best part about Alex is he is easy. He is easy to work with, he easily helps you problem solve to fit your budget, and he helped me relax and not stress so much as issues cropped up - such as wasps nest in the house behind the chimney, a lot of rotted boards, and an entire wall that hadn’t even had vapor barrier applied and needed to be replaced. Alex would swing by and check in on things every other day or so, or if I needed him. He was very responsive and attentive. His crew, who were here every day, were great to work with even when I changed some colors around or otherwise switched things up. Friendly and respectful when I had questions, needed suggestions, or just some reassurance. We had a big job here, it took two weeks in 95+ degree temperatures. Weather alone is enough to make anyone lose their minds. Not these guys. These guys never lost their cool or their cheerfulness. I respect that a lot. The reason we picked A. Parker Contracting has a lot to do with how he presented himself while reviewing the house for the estimate. I’d done some research on how things should happen, and he answered my questions about his process but he also explained how and why he would do certain things and when. Not all the contractors who came out to bid would do this. He wasn’t the lowest bid but he wasn’t the highest bid either. He wasn’t trying to ‘sell’ me. At the end of the day and at the end of this project I think they did an outstanding job. It is obvious they just want their customer’s home to look great and for them to be happy.

A. Parker did a fantastic job! It started with Al being here here on time for the estimate. He is very knowledgeable and was able to communicate well even though I have no aptitude for this kind of thing. Al and his son were also over here periodically to oversee the job and answer any questions I had. The crew also was on time, respectful, hard-working, and skilled, plus they cleaned everything up when they were done. The roof, skylights, and gutters look great!

The job went very well. The house roof was decades old, had several layers of shingles, and a lot of rotten wood needed to get replaced. Despite this, and some bad weather, the crew competed work on budget and on time. They stayed late to finish the gutters to get everything done before some storms came through. All debris was cleared away. Mr. Parker called back the next day to make sure that everything was satisfactory. We were very happy with the job, and will definitely hire them again.

The job went perfect, on time as promised, done in 2 days, and when finished you could not tell anyone had just installed a new roof. Complete cleanup. I am very happy with A Parker and would not hesitate to hire them again for any major home improvement project.

Everything was repaired well. They went beyond the scope of the original work to fix the other problems, including replacing a shingle on my detached garage that I didn't even notice had been lost. This was done at no additional charge. I was very pleased with the work, and would recommend them to others.

My basement has been leaking due to failing & undersized roof gutters. Al and his team upgraded the entire system so I am looking forward to the next rainstorm to observe the improved runoff handling!

Great! First, I got quotes from a couple contractors, A. Parker Contracting being one. I pointed out my 4" gutters were being overwhelmed by any moderate rain. and the Soffit on the first floor was falling to pieces. Alex sent me a proposal with the items he had suggested: gutters 6", larger downspout, bulldog gutter guards. and a Vinyl soffit and trim. I have a 2 story Colonial so the gutters would be 2 longer ones on the 2nd floor (front & back of course) and two smaller gutters on the first floor over the garage in front & the den/family room in back. I agreed to all but the gutter guards as I prefer gutter-sense Tongs on an extendable pole to clean my gutters. Alex kept in contact with me and encouraged me to call him with any questions or issues. He called me to let me know he could begin earlier than anticipated which I agreed to. When I Returned from work that same day, the crew was on the last stages of installation and clean-up. the gutters look really good and I was overjoyed the Soffit was in - which should better protect my kitchen water pipe during the winter. there was a short but heavy rain the other night and the gutters performed well. I would and will use A. Parker Contracting again.

Used this contractor for previous job and as before all was as planned, done in a timely manner and clean up was excellent. Outcome was better than expectations. These folks a joy to work with. You will get what you asked for! These folks are no nonsense and stay with it until complete. I would absolutely use this contractor again.

Mr. Parker, sons and crew provided me with excellent as quoted service estimate and timely execution of job completion. Very knowledgeable and every operation was done exactly as stated. This is not a cheap job as so much repair was needed to patch block cracks and holes in block, remove old stucco and paint and re-cement, stucco, and paint. His crew was on the job all day for the couple of days this took. Finished result was worth the price. Yes, I would use their services again. They will address any concerns you may have. Responsive and responsible. "A" in my book.

Work was completed in one day and they were courtesy and professional. Also, did not charge a fee to come out and access the damage and cost for repairs was reasonable.

This is an overdue review for a call a couple years ago, just realized it was not submitted properly. Called Alex, he showed up on time waiting for me outside while I was running late. He checked both outside and in the basement, and determined the cause was at the edge of the vinyl side and the front door flashing. He said it's probably the wind blowing at a particular angle, as it had never happened before. He told me to just get silicone caulking from Home Depot to caulk there when it's dry. It has never leaked since then.

Mr. Parker painted 80% of the deck and told me he would be back to complete the rest of it the next day. I paid the whole cost of the job since 80% was complete. Mr Parker never came back to finish job. I called him and he gave me his word he would be out the next day to finish it but never came. I am a disabled Firefighter so I could not finish myself and had to hire another painter to finish the deck. In my opinion Mr. Parker has no integrity, Honor.

I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about A Parker. Mr. Parker was prompt, courteous, and won the job over the other estimates without hesitation. His crew was professional, clean and did an outstanding job. Getting a new roof and gutters can be a huge financial undertaking but I felt very secure using this company. Any future work I can't imagine not using A Parker Contracting. It's nice to know couresty and integrity still exist. The first few companies made me question but Mr. Parker restored my faith. We had A. Parker Contracting power wash and paint our house for a very reasonable price. Two very hard working, conscientious employees did a SUPER job! The house looks beautiful. This company was wonderful. They gave me a free estimate, assessed the issue and then provided me with three options to make the repairs. They were responsive to emails and calls, even after hours. They were very flexible and were willing to work around my schedule, including arranging time to complete the job while I was at work and then following up the next day to collect payment. The crew did quality work and very thorough job of cleaning up afterwards. The test came several days later when some strong thunderstorms blew through the area--everything held up beautifully. I would absolutely hire them again.

Amazing!!!! Alex has done work for us in the past (painting the exterior of our house, installing a beautiful wood soffit on our back porch, replacing the roof on that back porch). From day one, Alex has been extremely honest with us. We have been so pleased with his work, that when it came time to replace the entire roof, we did not even bother to get other quotes. Alex is reasonably priced, honest, and hard working. His crew does an excellent job cleaning up at the end of each day. Alex is responsive and always exceeds our expectations. I highly recommend A. Parker.

It was a real easy experience we were gonna go with a different type of metal that was more money. The owner showed us a sample that looked really good and was much cheaper than the other estimates we got. It took little longer than we expected but the attention to detail has to be noted. The crew was great very nice and polite.

Top Quality Work! Al and his crew were professional from start to finish. They were quick and courteous. The house looks amazing. My landscaper showed up today and said "You got new siding? It looks great."

The roof looks great, we have a lifetime warranty and he used top quality GAF material. Once the crew started, they were professional and ample amount of skilled workers showed up bright and early to start working. He, Mr. Alex, came by as soon as the work was completed to explain things. He called to check with us to see if we were satisfied with the job. I recommend being patient and realize weather is a factor with starting a jog that take 2-3 days depending on the size of the job. We screened a few competitors and A. Parker had the most reasonable price but same quality service and material. He promised that he would deliver despite being considerably less expensive and he delivered.

A. Parker is the best ratio of quality to price that I've found yet. He stands behind his work, and if there is a problem, he will fix it. His workers were professional and respectful - they cleaned up everything and were careful to protect our beds and siding before starting any work. The only downside is that Al can be difficult to communicate with - he can take a while to reply to emails and isn't great about telling you when he's going to be coming by. His quality of work is excellent though, and I can't recommend him highly enough.
