 + -1 moreSometimes great but often slow to respond and quick to make excuses. Tended to assume that my calling in a repair made it okay to enter without calling first. Often left a mess when making repairs. It was a lovely old building that deserved more tlc.

Description of Work: This is a property management company located on Capitol Hill. I started renting my apartment from Willoughby in early 2009. They have strengths and weaknesses. One of their main strengths is the pricing for their apartments is often very good, and if you happen to catch them with openings in some of their apartments located in central areas (like Eastern Market), their pricing can be especially good. I've locked myself out of my place a few times, and they are quick about coming over to open the door, and never end up charging me the fee for this. But for service issues like fixing something in the apartment, I have had to nag them about things to get them to come over. During the winter, they are good about shoveling and salting. My particular unit is a large studio on the second floor a row house a few blocks from Eastern Market metro. The building is old but has plenty of character. My apartment has great natural light, hardwood floors, and exposed brick. And I do not pay any utilities, but this varies by apartment. Another thing is that they never advertise openings, really. You have to go to their website to find available apartments that they manage.
