Angel and his crew came exactly when they said they would, within a few days of our having contracted for the work. They were on time, cleaned up at the end of each day, and placed complicated stone very artfully. We are extremely pleased with their work.

Bottom line: it's pretty hard for us to imagine how anyone could go wrong with Angel on any home improvement projects, big or small. My wife and I got three bids for Items #1-4 in the list above. The first two companies were able to do on-site estimates within a few days, while Angel needed a week before he had a chance to come to the house. The wait was well worth it because Angel outbid the others by a very large amount. In fact, Angel was the only bid that came within our own back-of-the-envelope estimate for how much the work should cost, based on prior experience with large remodeling projects and a quick scan of material prices on the web. Once Angel's crew started, it was immediately clear that they were going to be very efficient, and the end result demonstrated that it was not because they didn't pay attention to details. Most of the work for Items #1-4 was done so quickly and so well that we asked Angel to add additional work scope to the original contract (Items #5-7). All of the work was done as specified, and we have been very satisfied with the outcome. While it's obviously important to find someone who can do good work, it was equally important to us that we found someone we could trust. Angel is one of the rare contractors I've encountered who will give you his honest opinion without any desire to gouge you. He will also take the time to explain everything he is doing (or is proposing to do), and in as much technical detail as you want. Finally, Angel is incredibly responsive to email and phone calls, and he follows through even on small promises that wouldn't have mattered if he'd forgotten about them. (We'd asked him to come back weeks after everything was done to address a minor issue without HVAC ductwork. I wouldn't have faulted him if he'd forgotten all about it?especially since it was a pretty small job relative to everything else we'd asked his team to do for us?but he definitely didn't forget.) There is no question that we would hire Angel again in the future if we needed to, and we would highly recommend him for any home improvement project. Simply put, Angel is the type of guy that makes Angie's List pay for itself many times over.

They were a kind of a mix. They did a decent job with the flooring, but before the work could get over, the guy who was managing was demanding for payment. I had a bedroom and bathroom upstairs and he did not allow me to use that facility. I was dumbfounded when he said like that. He was very arrogant. Then a worker came forward to resolve it. He put a board to help me out. I was pretty much satisfied with the work they did. Cost was also reasonable.

We have tried several Contractors since purchasing our 1900 house and have had varying success in either communication, price, or quality of work, but never all 3 until we found Wall to Wall on Angie's List. Angel came to our house to walk through all the work. He then sent us a detailed quote for all the projects we discussed. We chose to break them up into 2 groups, which was no problem for Wall to Wall. Work always began on the day and time we agreed upon and was completed within the time frame Angel originally stated. There was never a day no one showed up to work on the house. Angel or the main Project Manager was at the house everyday to make sure everything was going smoothly. We did add a few things which were outside of the original contract that did add to the price, but Angel was very clear on which items would add to the price and which would not. One additional project cost was a little more than I expected, but Angel is always available by phone and quick response by email to explain any questions on the project or price. All materials were included in the price except for a few upgrades we added such as a ceiling fan and dimmer switches. We were extremely happy with the quality of the work, especially the custom carpentry and their ability to match the new construction to the older parts of the house.

We were in the middle of trying to sell our house and found out through an inspection report that we needed some serious structural support/repairs in several places inside our house and outside on the back deck. We had a very tight deadline and Angel gave us a reasonable price for the work we were requesting and promised to meet our deadline. Then while we were having unseasonably cold weather, it snowed. And to make matters worse, a pipe burst and flooded the crawl space before Angel could commence work in the crawl space. However, he came through for us anyway. Angel had to first oversee the repair of the busted pipe before he could do the jobs that he was initially hired to do. He overcame the weather related obstacles and did a great job within that tight time frame! Angel is the ultimate professional. He is knowledgeable, experienced, trustworthy, and he cares about his customers. He was patient and communicative about what he was doing and why. We are so impressed with him and his company that we plan to hire Wall to Wall Construction for projects in our new home and our real estate agent will be recommending them to her clients as well.

The result is just marvelous - light pours in and there are no drafts. I am delighted with the work and, as always, am equally pleased with Angel Tuesta's professionalism and the straightforward way that he relates to his clients. The job was undertaken on budget, on time and with great care to avoid disruption in the house.

Touched base w/ Wall to Wall, agreed to meet on Saturday morning 2/14 between 8-9:30. I was supposed to receive an appointment confirmation via e-mail, but never received one when appointment was set on 2/10. it is now 1011 on 2/14, contractor has not arrived, I have not received a phone call. Since I don't technically have a confirmation in hand, this is only reason they did not get a complete F.

Wall to wall finished work for me in my apartment a few weeks back which I already reviewed and gave top marks for. Based on their great work, I asked them to do additional soundproofing for me in my lounge and bedroom. They did their usual great job and I am really pleased with the outcome. These guys are so professional, experienced and trustworthy. Angel is the ultimate professional and so patient and pleasant when responding to questions. He always tells you how it is so there are never any surprises or disappointments. I recommend them with out reservation and am already planning future projects for them in my apartment! A great day when I found Angel and his team through Angie's List.

I found Wall to Wall Construction on Angie's List and am so thankful that I did. I had been nervous about having this work done which had stalled my decision for about 2+ years. Julio Angel Tuesta Noel, the President of the company, came to my apartment himself and diligently took down all the details of what I wanted, plus lots of photos and measurements, and came back to me quickly with an accurate quotation. The work started on Monday December 1, and by day two I knew that I had found a great contractor - so much so, that I added the painting of my bedroom and some additional dry wall work to the original work order. His team of two came in and did their work methodically and tidied up everything as they went along so I was able to live in my apartment while the work was being done. He monitored his team's progress diligently throughout the few days they worked in my place. They took all trash away at the end of the job. Angel is a true professional who clearly knows his business and is very personable. I would not hesitate to use Wall to Wall Construction again for any work I need done in my apartment, or anywhere that I call home. I am most grateful to Angel and his team for making what could have been a scary and disruptive experience almost enjoyable!

They were on time, really friendly, and cleaned up well when the project was completed.

There are not enough positive words to describe how great this company is. Angel is always professional and available for any questions or concerns I may have. They did an initial site survey of our house to make sure what would be the best solution for a tankless hot water heater and where it would be installed. I was given an estimate that the work would take about 3 days, but everything was done and water was restored all in the same day! Yes, all the electrical work and all the plumbing was done in the same day! Angel was in constant contact with me about the different stages of work (as he always is) and took pictures for me after he did his inspection after the work was completed. The installation was flawless and each member of the crew was professional and very friendly (also as ususal). Angel even took my calls a few days later to answer my questions on how to operate the new water heater. **** IMPORTANT UPDATE **** About 6 weeks later, the water heater stopped working one morning and I had no idea why. I called Angel and he was at my house immediately within 20 minutes. He checked some electrical things and then was on the phone with his electrician for more details. Not much could be done that morning, but the electrician was able to come over to check things out that evening once he was free. After further investigation, the sub-panel providing power was working fine but the water heater control panel was not working properly to send electricity to the heating elements. Jovani (the electrician) and Angel contacted the manufacturer of the water heater the next day and had a replacement part overnighted. The part came the part came the next day and Jovani installed it and all was working with the water heater again. Upon further investigation, the water heater began to slowly stop working due to the power outage in DC caused by the blown transformer at RFK stadium about 2 weeks before it stopped working completely. All in all, Angel and Wall to Wall construction responded to my emergency immediately and worked quickly enough to solve the problem. We were only without hot water for approx. 2 days. I will definitely hire Angel and Wall to Wall again and again because of the knowledge they have, the trustworthiness of the entire company, and because they stand by the guarantee they give on the work they do!!!

Angel and his staff are consummate professionals, and Angel was responsive within 12 hours of any contact on our part. They kept the site clean, were incredibly attentive to detail, and made the new rooms they created look beautiful. They were also careful to protect our furniture that was in the way, and skillfully worked around it. We are completely satisfied.

Angel had imaginative and really useful design suggestions. We worked together to select the material and revise the concept as the work unfolded. His guys did a great job and the quality of the construction is excellent. The result is a truly wonderful deck (which I see is now on the company's website). One additional great thing about working with Wall to Wall is that I feel that I can call and ask for suggestions/minor additional pieces of work at any time. Angel continues to provide a supportive service long after the contract is complete.

Excellent, on time and quick to keep in contact with updates

We are extremely happy with the work that Wall-to-Wall did. We started with the basement project as it was less high-impact and in order to make sure we were comfortable with the work. It went extremely well - the bathroom was installed on time with minimal disruption and Angel was responsive and helpful throughout the process. The upstairs project was much more substantial, and required a lot of demolition and removing a monstrosity of a jacuzzi tub. But it was done on time and both bathrooms turned out great. It took just under four weeks. Throughout both projects, Angel was in constant communication with us about the work being done, the information he needed, and upcoming challenges. With a couple very minor exceptions when we wanted to change the project slightly, Wall-to-Wall stuck exactly to the estimate. (And even these slight changes amounted to at most a couple percentage points of the total project cost.) He was very patient with us throughout, willing to explain things and work with us to get the best possible outcome. Angel was a great person to work with. As just one example, we were on vacation during the week the project finished but eager to see how things were turning out. Angel emailed us pictures for us to track the project. More generally, we admittedly didn't really know what we were doing. Angel answered every one of our stupid questions honestly and while pretending they weren't stupid. He was tremendously responsive - whether to emails, phone calls, or text messages.

Old garage door wasn't working well plus poor fit. Wall to Wall took down the garage door, removed the pieces and then framed up the new wall and installed the entry door in the same day. On the following day they came back to do the brick work. That too was done all in one day. The wall looks great, they matched it with the older brick on the back of the house and the new door makes entry and exit to the garage space much more convenient.

We had a lot of different projects and multiple interactions with Angel and his team over the last 6 months; each interaction with Angel (President) and the team was professional and pleasant. Angel is punctual, detail oriented, and he is super responsive to our (many) questions and concerns. Regardless of the size of the job or the number of other projects he is working on, we always felt like we were a priority. For example, as the work on the bathroom was progressing, Angel was happy to text photos so that we could see the progress. He also communicated any issues promptly as they arose and patiently answered all of our questions and responded to our requests / change orders. All of the work was completed on time and on budget (unless there were changes, which were discussed). Our new master bath is beautiful and we are loving all of our new closet space! While we did get lower estimtes from other contractors (and higher estimates from others) we feel that it was worth the value and level of professionalism we received. We have been so happy with all of the work completed and highly recommend Angel and his team. We will definitely be using Wall to Wall again.

I recently purchased a two story house which for whatever reason did not have any closets for storage or hanging coats on the first floor. I was looking for a company that could build a custom closet to provide me with space to store my things. I contacted Wall to Wall Construction and spoke with Julio, he was extremely professional and very pleasant. I scheduled an appointment to have him come and take a look at my house to give me an estimate for the job. When Julio arrived he was very patient with me listening to what vision I had for the project, he made some great suggestions and explained in detail what could be done. After our initial meeting he contacted me promptly with a breakdown of the cost to complete my project. Because this was my first home I had a lot of things going on so I could not have Julio start immediately, he was very understanding and stayed in constant contact with my by email answering all my questions. Finally, I was able to give him a set date. It took Julio's crew a total of two days to complete the work. I absolutely love my custom closet. I am beyond pleased and happy with the work they completed. Everyone that comes to visit compliments me on how great the closet looks. I don't have a lot of room downstairs and one of my main concerns was that the closet would take away from my open floor plan. The work was so good you would think the closet was there from the start. I have a few other projects that I have received estimates for and I cannot wait to schedule them with Julio. The quality of work from this company is just amazing.

Everything went very well and the final product (fireplace) is beautiful. Angel, owner of Wall to Wall construction, was very professional and cooperative, especially when the project required coordination with another contractor to install the fireplace. I have used Angel's company in the past on painting and drywall projects and have been very pleased. They may not be the cheapest but their professionalism and quality of work is outstanding.

Wall to Wall's quote was the lowest I got, but they also seemed very competent and clear about what was possible and logical and what wasn't. There was work to be done in almost every area of the condo, and my roommate and I stayed while the work was being done, only moving out some furniture. They did a great job of working around us and trying to minimize dust (but when doing that much drywall work, there's going to be cleaning to do at the end no matter what). The quote I got was what I paid, even though I made some slight contract modifications. The timeline slipped slightly from an estimated 5-7 workdays to 9, though that wasn't entirely unexpected. In a condo beset by shoddy work done by my developer, working with Wall to Wall was incredibly refreshing.

Discovered a busted water pipe last week and was able to cap the leak myself but I needed further repair and called several plumbers. None could make the call because it was the weekend. Angel from Wall to Wall worked with me to arrange one of his crews to come out to replace the section, cutoff valve and replace the Frost-Proof Sillcock. All which had been damage with the recent deep freeze our area had. The plumbers even came out 5 days later when the same section developed a pin-hole leak and replaced a smaller section with out an additional cost. Plumbers further insulated the pipe and recommended that I fully insulated the wall cavity with a combination of spray foam and fiberglass or else I would risk another leak. All which I did and seems to have worked. So far no leak.

Our experience with Wall to Wall was, in a word, great. They did excellent work, were completely responsive to every question and concern that we had and were able to explain to us why things had to be when they found surprises in our old townhouse. Angel is a great collaborator and worked hard to achieve the design we envisioned. He and his crew are committed to finding solutions for their clients. This was our fourth kitchen remodel, so we are no novices, and our experience with Angel and Wall to Wall was the best we have ever had with a contractor. The job did take longer than we anticipated, but that mostly had to do with problems with our cabinet supplier. We look forward to working with Wall to Wall on our next project.

We dealt with Julio on/off for several months. We found him to be very straightforward, easy to work with, honest, and confident about his firm's quality product. We also found him to be much more knowledgeable about general contractor work than his competition. His estimate was highly detailed, competitively priced, and reasonable in terms of payment draw and work schedule. He represents his firm and the industry well. We elected to use another provider primarily due to timing. Wall to Wall could not fit us in until early next year and we wanted to move ahead now. Had their schedule been amenable, we would have likely used them. If we have work in the future, we will certainly call them again.

We didn't use his services as the estimate was beyond our budget.
