Service was great! Arrived on time as promised and even called to say someone was on his way. Highly recommended!

It was good. They were great. What I loved about them was that they came exactly when they said they would come. They seemed to be pretty precise on how they did their work. It was probably a little bit pricey but it's fine. I think it's worth for their reliability. Everything that they did has worked fine. I would recommend them.

when my tenant moved out of my house, one of the weird things she left with with was the state of the plumbing in my hall bathroom: the shower trim, and even the stem that interfaces with the shower body, fell right off the wall. I don't know what she was doing with it, but I had Stevens & Co come help me re-install it. The shower body & trim was from a weird brand, Rahl, which was a challenge for the plumber to figure out. But when I looked through my emails and found the receipt from when I ordered it five years ago, I went online and pulled down the installation instructions from the Rahl website, and then the plumber fixed it right up. I'm grateful that this plumber was willing to stick around and try to solve the problem instead of just declaring it "weird" or "unfixable" like I have had different plumbers say on other jobs. All in all, you really can't ask for more than to get a guy who wants to solve a problem and sticks it out until the job is done. So, thanks.

Over the course of a month we had to fix various plumbing issues in our home, including replacing a faulty faucet in the bathroom sink, replace a cracked toilet, and replace two feeder valves underneath the kitchen sink (which also necessitated removal of the disposal to provide for access). We interacted with three plumbers at Stevens Co, and all were professional and courteous. What we appreciated most was the fact that each plumber explained their evaluation of the problem, how they would go about fixing it, and what some of the potential surprises may be.

I called at 7 a.m. to request emergency service for a leaking pipe under my sink. I spoke to an employee who took my name and address and said that she would send the call out to the dispatcher and I would receive a call from the technician when he was on his way. After waiting 5 hours for a call I called back to ensure someone would be coming that day. The gentleman who answered the phone said he was the dispatcher and that no one would be coming because they were too busy with other work. I was told that MAYBE they could get to me tomorrow but most likely not until two days later. I would have at least appreciated a call from them advising that they would not be able to provide emergency services...that way I could have searched for another plumber earlier in the day. They advertise emergency services but apparently they do not actually provide them. Thanks for nothing.

Though the plumber was later than I was initially told (he had a prior appointment) he was excellent. He demolished a portion of the wall to reroute piping and insert a box. He also installed the two new faucets I purchased for the house. He made sure there was no residual leaking and troubleshooted until all of the leaks were sealed.

Their dispatcher is efficient and thorough, I've had two different plumbers come out. Both were professional and throrough. Explained what they were doing and why and gave other advice about what to do in the future. They made a bit of a mess but cleaned up afterwards. They tried twice to fix a certain issue that needed more extensive work and were honest about it. Their estimator (who comes out separately) was on time and efficient. I like the way these guys operate.

Staff were on time, professional, and friendly. They helped with the permitting and inspection, and went above and beyond during the whole process. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

On Monday, August 11, 2014, I called at 8:30 AM regarding non-emergency toilet value problem and was told earliest appointment would be Wednesday at noon to 2 PM . I agreed to that time and was told someone would be here then and their fees were to be paid COD. I said okay as I was going out of town Thursday and Friday. On August 13, Co. called around 11:30 AM asking if I could agree to change appointment to Friday August 15, because it was responding to "emergencies", I answered no , repeating my going out of town Thursday/Friday. I was told they would call me back. Fifteen minutes before they close, I called and asked what was happening. I was asked if they could come Thursday, August 14 and I said no I was leaving town. I told them to forget it.

Excellent, timely service with a professional and friendly technician.

They did very good work. It was reasonably priced.

15-year old bathroom sink faucet had begun to leak. Upon removing faucet, discovered parts would need to be ordered. Decided to replace with owner purchased new faucet. Hardest part was removing the old faucet. Also discovered the shutoff valves began leaking when turned off and needed to be replaced as well. Valves were replaced and new faucet was installed. Plumber was very courteous and handled the installation well.

They were good, i just think they did good work , they showed up after communicating.

The estimator was prompt in arriving. He talked about my options and gave me some suggestions on how to proceed with the job. He took my information and was going to email me a proposal. About a few days later I contact the company requesting the estimate. A few days later I got the estimate via email. A part of the estimate was not clear on what was to be d one. I wrote back asking for clarification. No response. A few days later I called. I was told the tech would call me back. Again, no one called. On the 19th, I decided to try one more time. I called and explained to the person who answered what I needed. The gentlemen said he would personally look into it. He took my name, address and proposal number. No call back. I'm not sure what the issue could have been, but I was disappointed of their lack on communication. Had they decided not to take the job? Was their quote too low? Telling a customer something rather than silence I think is always preferred.

They did a great job. They were very reasonable. They could've charged me more, but they didn't. They explained that a new washer should and actually did fix the problem. Very nice guys.

Fantastic visit by Alex from Stevens. He showed up on time and was very patient as I flapped around describing the basement flood caused by my clogged back yard drains. When the snake didn't clear the blockage, he then used a combination of finesse and brute force to clear the drain. Next, he diagnosed my leaking hot water heater issue and patched me up to minimize any damage until I get the beast replaced. With all the rain we had last week my basement was dry and the drains worked like a charm. Thank you Alex and Stevens Plumbing!

I placed an emergency call to Stevens around 7:00 PM. A pipe in our upstairs laundry room was leaking, and shutting off the valve only worsened the situation, to the point where water was steadily dripping down through the ceiling of our first floor. Richard from Stevens carefully listened to the issue and walked me through steps to determine the exact cause of the leak. He determined that the pipe would need to be repaired immediately to stop the leak, and put in a call for their next available person to come to our house. Alex arrived within the hour, and quickly determined that that the leaking bolt would need to be cut from the pipe and replaced with a new piece of pipe and bolts. To perform this procedure, the water line into our house would need to be turned off completely. This task was complicated by the fact that we could not find the main water valve inside our home, most likely the result of it being rendered inaccessible during a remodel. Alex acted quickly and found the meter outside, which had required him to dig a layer of dirt out of a tree box to access the lid. Within a few minutes, he had our water turned off. WIth the water off, Alex immediately returned back into our house to cut and replace the pipe. Within minutes, he had the new piece of pipe installed, and our water was turned back on, and everything was back to normal. Alex's quick thinking and action prevented a significant amount of damage from occurring in our home. He was very friendly and explained everything along the way, which calmed us and assured us that we were in good hands. I definitely recommend Stevens, and will use them again should any future needs occur.

I give every recommendation possible for Stevens Co. From the outset, Mike was extremely professional, courteous, timely, and responsive. First of all, he showed up on time for the quote (unlike many others), didn't treat us like we were fools (unlike many others), and got to know what we were trying to do. He did his research, and gave us an excellent quote for a high efficiency boiler. Wayne led the plumbing work, and did an outstanding job all around. He treats his pipes like artwork--not accepting a shoddy job. Through the whole process he kept us informed of what he was doing, kept the work moving at a good pace (despite some slowdowns on our end), and always with a very professional and courteous attitude. I would definitely recommend this company, and will look to them again for future major plumbing work.

It was very expensive. The staff was friendly. The work wasn't that great though. I may need to have them come back because it doesn't seem to be fixed.

He came to check on slow drains. Of course, all were working fine when he arrived (maybe since I had poured baking soda & vinegar down the drains). He still charged me $132.50 which I thought was expensive for no work! I have used Stevens regularly in the past as they have been fair on not charging for things that are unnecessary, not sure will use them again, seemed alot for 15 minutes of work!

They came when they said they would be here and they did really good work. They cleaned up after themselves and I don't have anything to clean up after they were gone. I thought they did an excellent job but they were a little pricey. They had a service call fee worth 75$, the mechanics rate was 247$, and 25$ for drain machine. I told them they would have to call me and they did that. I got them maybe 5 minutes before the technician was pulling up. He came in and he was clearly identified, he told me his name. He did not take any cash, in fact, I had actually taking care of my payment arrangement with Stevens so then I would have them come to check a leak in my tub. We got closed up on the day but they actually held the charge for me because they were waiting to see if they would come back to do the other thing. I thought that was the wonderful experience that I had with them.

Julio was great! Although he worked 6 hours, he only charged for 5 because he had spent an hour attempting two different fixes to a leaking sink -- neither of which worked. After an hour, he discovered the sink actually had a small crack by the drain. He fixed that by using a new seal that covered the crack.

He is diligent, communicates well and goes the extra mile to get the job done right and properly.
