When the plumber (Robert) first arrived and evaluated the situation he told me as much as he could about what he needed to do considering that he wouldn't know for sure what to expect until he opened the drywall. He gave an estimate of $850 but said that was worst-case and it might be lower. After cutting out the drywall he saw that the existing vent line could still be used, so he was able to reconnect it and the final cost was only $450. He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable, and he even called another plumber at Stevens to get his opinion and make sure that was was considering all of the options. He arrived on-time, the work was performed neatly and professionally, and he cleaned up when he was done. Overall a very good experience.

The plumber replaced three 30-year old valves in my utility room that supply the water to my 1 bedroom condo unit. Although the job took over 2 hours the final bill shocked me. I'm a new condo owner so maybe this is not out of the reasonable range. It was an urgent job and it needed to be done. I was pleased with the overall experience and would recommend DH Stevens to anyone, I'm just inexperienced and can't evaluate the fees I was charged.

Service performed first time was probably appropriate and it started right up. I didn't like having to call again a couple of days later but the technician came right out and it's worked perfectly since. Maybe he could have cleaned the screen etc. the first time, but I was pleased with the technician's professionalism and courtesy.

It was about $75, which seems a lot cheaper than what the building would have been looking for. Haven't had issues since then.

Technician called before coming over to determine what the problem was and indicated that the clogged sewer line was a two-man job. Both employees were competent and efficient. The cost estimate included time to tape/clean up our bathroom to avoid a mess when snaking the line, which the plumber indicated would be difficult. Then he found access to the sewer line through our utility closet, which required very little prep/clean-up. I asked about a discount for the easier job and was told that the price was firm. The job was done correctly and quickly in less than 1.5 hours total (two men). If this problem happens again, I will call for estimates for the specific issue.

They were able to make an appointment the day I called. The technician was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the leak and did not leave a mess of any kind.

We had to call Stevens on the Saturday night before Xmas when our toilet would not stop flushing. We waited 2 hours and then called again, when no one showed up. The operator was very kind and helpful and paged them again. This time Mike called back in about 1/2 hour and walked my husband through the procedure to fix the problem without having someone come to our home on a Sunday, which would have cost us over $300. We were impressed with his honesty and are thinking about them for a bathroom remodel we are planning next year.

I have been using them for a couple years and their personnel is very friendly and very helpful. They always show up time and do a great job. Typically they charge $390 for toilet installation but I had special circumstances so it was a little higher. I would highly recommend them to others.

Plumber was on time,but after he arrived needed to get more parts. After the installation the faucet still dripped, the new handles were completely scratched and they tried to charge me $200 more than the quote.

STEVENS PLUMBING IS ALWAYS ON TIME, THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK AT A FAIR PRICE. THEY EVEN WORK WITH ME TO REDUCE COSTS -- SUCH AS TELLING ME HOW TO REPLACE THE COVER OF MY DISHWASHER TO SAVE A TRIP AND A CHARGE.
