Description of Work: No service was provided due to the fact that the washer was not serviceable. But instead of the Service Tech attempting to repair the machine he advised me on what to consider when selecting a new Washing Machine.

Description of Work: Service Master came to the house to fix my KitchenAid refrigerator. It is a high-end unit, and I had already had someone come out to tell me that I needed to replace the entire $10,000 appliance. The Service Master technician spent 30 minutes checking the refrigerator and quickly identified the problem and fixed it. No problems since they completed the work.

Description of Work: The technician was prompt, courteous, diagnosed the problem quickly and discussed the next steps to take if necessary to repair my Kenmore washer. The service change was nominal and if further work was needed within 10 days, it would be applied to the repair changes. Very clear and very fair.

Description of Work: I purchased an appliance repair "service package" thru AL. Contractor was supposed to respond within 72 hours via AL. 4 weeks later still no contact and I had to track them down. Once I reached them they recognized they had not responded to purchased service and arrived within 48 hours. They did identify and fix the problem with my dishwasher, which now runs properly. Friendly + professional, but I had to wait far longer than the "AL deal" said I should.

Description of Work: The technician repaired the motor on my refrigerator/freezer. The technician was on time; he comopleted the repairs promptly and effectively; and he provided helpful advice for the future.

Description of Work: They responded same day and were able to get out to repair our freezer within a few hours. There was something that burned out and they had the repair part on their service truck for an easy fix.

Description of Work: Repaired my oven as it had a short in the power supply. It turned out that at the manufacturer they pinched a power supply wire (around the side of the oven). Over time that pinch exposed the wire and a short occurred. After tracking down the short they had to dismantle most of the range to get to where the wire was pinched. They did a really good job.

Description of Work: Representative would not discuss what it entailed to come and clean up my septic spills in my basement bath. Highly unprofessional - he was defensive when questioned about a charge of $250 to just ring my doorbell - he put me on hold came back on the line and said "on second thought we cannot come out to assist you" and then HUNG UP ON ME! Rude. Overpriced. Fleece you and wait for you to be "reimbursed" by your insurance company - who wont cover their prices.
