Description of Work: Our fridge has had a broken water dispenser and unusable vegetable drawer for a year. All of it was fixed by the technician. He came on time, was polite, and repaired the fridge.

Description of Work: He came in and I showed him the dishwasher appliance that was broken, and he realized that this was a brand new appliance with a warranty and suggested I do that instead. He asked if there was anything else. I then showed him my AC leaking problem, and he immediately told me how to fix it if I wanted to do that myself, or he would have to come back at a later date with the proper equipment since he was coming out to fix the dishwasher and didn't know about the AC issue. He gave me explicit instructions, I fixed it myself and my wife is pleased! Dishwasher was fixed free with the warranty just like he said. Life is good, and these guys will get my business the next time something breaks. Very professional and very honest. Yay!

Description of Work: The technician found the cause of a non-functioning refrigerator. The problem turned out to be a fan which had to be ordered, but the process was quick and efficient.

Description of Work: They performed a diagnostic and told me the cost to repair the unit exceeds the cost to replace it. I asked if they would apply the cost to diagnose towards replacement and they said no. So I paid $135 for them to tell me it needed to be replaced! I would not use this type of service ever again.

Description of Work: They did a good job and fixed the refrigerator; however, I had to call them back out to fix the freezer door which wasn't shutting properly. They did come back out and do that.

Description of Work: Paid for appliance repair. They came and insisted oven temp problem was caused by a connection, not the thermostat. They had to order that part and came back a couple of weeks later to replace it (second visit was included). It didn't fix the problem and I would've had to pay again to have them come back and try again to fix it. I gave up; oven temp is still wonky.

Description of Work: Purchased the $139 appliance repair to fix our gas dryer. They came out on time and fixed it. However, two days later it was not drying again. They came back out, no questions asked, and fixed it again for no additional charge.

Description of Work: The offer was for service on one large appliance, and evaluation of another appliance. We hired Service Master to repair our Bosch dishwasher. The repairman came as scheduled, but found it to be a more difficult problem than he anticipated. It took two more visits for him to fix the dishwasher, and a lot of his time. We also wanted him to evaluate our cooktop and associated ventilation fan (as contemplated in the Angie's List deal). He was not interested in looking at or talking about the cooktop. We had the impression that he had spent too much time on the dishwasher, and wanted to get away as soon as possible. Too bad for us because we have a number of appliance problems, and bought this deal as a way to fix the most immediate one, and get started on another one. Too bad for Service Master, because we would have hired Service Master separately to repair the cooktop. Because the provided did not provide all of what was advertised, we won't be using Service Master again.
