Description of Work: It was overall not very satisfactory and definitely TOO expensive. The worker spent 5 minutes installing the spare part the I ordered and paid, not checking enough if they worked properly. That is a lot of money wasted.

Description of Work: For about $200 they offered to do a large appliance repair (labor only, dryer in my case) and an assessment on a 2nd appliance (washer in my case). Price included a 2nd visit to complete repairs. After initial visit they came back immediately with the estimate (parts & labor) to complete the dryer repair and, if if I chose, the washer as well. Their estimate was very reasonable so I opted to repair both. The final cost included repair (labor & parts) of both appliances exactly as quoted. The whole process was smooth, timely, and professional.

Description of Work: Coukd not fix my washer. Of which there was just a little cloth stuck inside. Told me washer was un fixable and it will cost me same price as new machine if I try to fix. Left without repair done. I need my money back

Description of Work: I never had them come to the house. I purchased an appliance repair. By the day of the scheduled appointment, the washer had fixed itself. I found the process troublesome. I had to keep signing into my account to see if the company had responded by e-mail. When someone called to make the appointment, he named the part that needed replaced (without seeing the washer). When I called to cancel, he said this was only a diagnostic appointment. Scheduling was tedious and time consuming. It would not have worked in a situation that needed immediate attention.

Description of Work: After the first service, were told that the dryer might need a new part to complete the repair, and that he would return to install the part. The initial repair was good for a week when the noise returned. Called the company and requested the same repairman with the part. He returned within a week and installed the part which has totally fixed the problem. There was no additional charge except for the part. Very pleased with the service.

Description of Work: The company responded quickly and came in a few days. The tech was very knowledgeable. He said the make of washer was not good and I told him I did not want to spend a lot to repair it. It is only 4 years old, but if it is not a good machine I would not want to waste money. He told me I needed a new part and we waited a few days for him to get the part and come back. Shortly after he put in the new part, the machine was leaking water. I called the the tech on the number he called me and left a message. No call back. We adjusted the size of the load of laundry and it was better, but not completely. About three weeks later on Feb 12 it would not spin the clothes. I called the tech again and left a message again about this problem. I never heard back so on Saturday I called the main number. The person who answered said they could come out again on Monday. I asked why I never received a call back from the tech. He said the tech does not return calls. I told him if their phone takes a message they should relay the message. I have a machine with a new part and it does not work. He hung up. |On Monday I got someone to come over and wait for the tech who was coming between 11-1. At 12:15 I got a call that the tech had slid off the road and they could send someone on Tuesday. I told him I was sorry about the accident, but could another tech come. No, he had no more techs. He could not control the weather. I explained again my disappointment that the "repair" cost me $90 and I had no workable machine. He told me he was not a magician and had no way of knowing what else was wrong. I told him if I had been told that that this might not do the trick I would only be out the service call. I told him I would just buy a nrw machine and write a review. I do not repair appliances for a living, but I counted on this company to know how to fix something or yell me it would need a lot of work. |I felt that the person handling customer service gave very poor service. The tech was good.

Description of Work: The tech replaced a compressor on the refrigerator. It works just fine now. He had the part in the truck, so no waiting for the repair. He arrived to do the repair same day that I called.

Description of Work: I received a fast response after purchasing a Big Deal appliance repair. They arrived within the time window they specified. The problem with our dryer was diagnosed fairly quickly and a $30 part was replaced on the same visit. The service call probably lasted about 30 minutes and the dryer has been working well since then.

Description of Work: They were very responsive and friendly. They didn't have the part to fix the frig but ordered it and came back the next day to install. The tech was a little unsure that the part would fix the problem, but the device was working when he left. Unfortunatly the fix didn't last but a week or so and an new refrigerator needed to be purchased. I wish I had not paid in advance.

Description of Work: They arrived when they said they would. He needed to order a part. The part came in quickly and we scheduled a second appointment quickly. He then installed it quickly. It was a no nonsense repair job.

Description of Work: We had an oven where the pilot light wasn't staying lit and a washing machine that was broken. He diagnosed the problem with the oven and advised a replacement, since the cost of repair would exceed the worth of the old oven. On the washing machine, he tried to repair without replacing a part, but returned promptly when the fix didn't work, and was ultimately able to fix it with just one part and careful cleaning of the clog (caused by tenant who washed something that she shouldn't have). Tech was easy to communicate with, returned phone calls, and did a great job. I'd definitely hire this company again.
