Service Master

Description of Work: There's something strange about the pricing for this company. If you look at the reviews, $290 seems to crop up a LOT. When I asked for a breakdown of the charges by service call, labor and parts, they wouldn't do it. I had a Sub-Zero refrig that wasn't cooling - and I got very prompt same morning service from the company. The Technician arrived a little more than 2 hours after my call to them and was competent and professional in diagnosing and fixing the problem (the freon has leaked out of the compressor for the refrigerator section of the Sub-Zero). He was professional and worked quickly. But I do have this problem with their pricing. Seems like no matter what the prob, the charge is some standard rate. I did use the Angie's list coupon which brought my real costs down to $268 for a service call, 30-45 mins of technician time and 1 lb of freon.

Description of Work: had an appt with Sears to repair washing machine. Waited 4 hours for repair person to arrive. Waited on hold for another 45 minutes with sears "customer service" and was told that the technician was overbooked and they would have to reschedule for June 11! Logged onto Angies list and contacted Service Master. They arrived within 1 hour, replaced a part, cleaned up and were done with in 2 hours of contacting them.
