Company is terrible at communication and has randomly stopped showing up to work on my renovations more times than I can count. This project has had so many problems including permit issues (wrong ones pulled), and what was estimated as a 6-month job is now approaching the two year mark. There is no end in sight.

We hired NVP, through a competitive bid, for a new build half-bath on 1st floor of our house and are extremely pleased with the finished product. A portion of the space was previously a coat closet. The job entailed demo to the old closet, moving the exterior door 1.5 ft to right (had to drain & move heat register too), framing the bath, overhead storage closet, and an adjacent coat closet into the space. Plumbing, electrical, etc. were all new for this job. NVP ordered/received all materials for the job, so the quote was inclusive. When working at our house all company members were very friendly, polite, and professional. The workmanship and finishes were superb. Additionally, NVP used an excellent plumber, and pulled all the permits the ensure the job was up-to-code. We have used other contractors in the past and here are some areas NVP impressed beyond expectations: -They did not cut corners (e.g., they did some extra leg work to route the sewer directly to the line under the house rather than tie into our existing stack with a barely-to-code pitch) -Responded positively to all requests and nuances encountered -At the onset Bob said he answers his phone 100% of the time, and that proved to be true. Dealing with contractors who wont call you back is frustrating. We never had that experience with NVP.

The handyman did an excellent job installing the basket exactly how I wanted it. He showed up on time and completed the work in less than 10 minutes.

Bob showed up over an hour late for our initial meeting to provide a quote. He was very knowledgeable and had a lot of great ideas but, ultimately, never followed up even though I called him and his office multiple times. I would have really appreciated them just saying, "this project is too small for us" or whatever but instead they just ghosted us.

Angie's List reached out indicating that our job had been matched with a local provider-NVP Home Services - and I was given their contact information. We set up an appointment for the next week. My husband waited for the estimator, who did not show and we were contacted via email that the estimator was sick. Understanding that things happen, we set up a second appointment and had what seemed to be a good initial consultation. We asked about putting in a new bathroom floor and possibly repainting our basement apartment. The estimator took photos and asked a number of questions. He was very professional, courteous and made a good impression. Despite being a job on the smaller side, I was assured that we would have a quote within the next few days, and they did smaller scale work like this all the time. That was good to hear - we were looking to do this project and hopefully find a reliable contractor that we could use for larger projects on some other properties that we own. After that point, we never heard one word from the company again. We called both main office line and the office manager who had set up the appointment. I left several voicemails. We also reached out on email to the office contact and the estimator. We never heard anything -not even to say they were not interested in the project. We ended up having a great experience with another contractor, also found through Angie's List. Usually we don't leave a review unless we have work done by a business, but the complete lack of any communication or follow-up is a red flag and very disappointing. Even if our job wasn't a good fit for the company, some sort of response would have been appreciated.

They were prompt, very professional, cleaned up after their services insuring everything was to my satisfaction. I will recommend and use them, again.

Quality service for smaller jobs is hard to find during a building/renovation boom. NVP fills this niche in the market. They were the first to respond to a relatively small issue (to other contractors) that was a big problem for me. I'm very satisfied with the end result.

NVP are awesome. The folks are knowledgeable, skilled and respectful. We asked them to help us repair some water damage around our large glass windows and trim. We hired them back to assist us with roof and other water damage. I would recommend the NVP team without reservation.

The New Vision team was prompt and professional throughout the process. In designing and constructing my attic, they kept me informed throughout and I couldn't be happier with the final product.
