We had a difficult job and solicited multiple locksmiths. We have old fashioned locks on our bedroom doors that needed to be replaced with modern doorknobs and locks. Ron was prompt to contact us, arrange a time, and he showed up at the agreed upon time and finished early. His work was solid. He even came back on a holiday to finish the job. I am pleased to recommend Ron at Mr. Locksmith DC.

I am sure Mr. Locksmith has earned all of the glowing reviews I read on other sites - and the company was, indeed, polite, punctual, professional and personable. I offer my somewhat mixed experience only for the reader's information. I called them for a locksmith around 1:00 PM, and while very polite, they scheduled and cancelled my appointment twice before the Locksmith arrived at 7:30 PM. It was a busy weekend at the end of the day, and it seemed to be a rushed job, in fact, the locksmith, who was really a great person and easy to deal with, left before I could properly test the new lock. The lock was so loose, it came open easily just withdrawing my key, or just using my little finger, and anyone could open it easily. I called their office to report this, no one answered and I left a message which was not returned. An hour later, I instead called the individual locksmith who had done the work, and we scheduled for 2:00 PM the next day. As usual he arrived in a timely manner and performed an adequate repair, with good spirits and a minimum of hassle. I think they are a fine company and deliver professional work in tight timeframes at reasonable prices. They seem to arrive punctually, no matter what time of day or night, no matter if it is a weekend or holiday. Despite one or two glitches, they are all one can expect from a locksmith, and maybe just a bit more. I would likely use them again should the need arise.
