+ -1 moreI was very impressed with Micheal's professionalism and attention to detail when he first cleaned our gutters so I called him this year as well. A job awesomely done this time as well and now we also have the screens installed on Micheal's recommendation.

Description of Work: For the past few years, every few months i get a notice taped to my front door advertising this persons services. The flyer has the Angie’s list seal from 2012 and states the claim “Angie’s List super service award winner”. I have called Angie’s List to get some background on his company, and they don’t have anything on file for him.. He is using the Angie's list "award" from 6 years ago to promote his marketing which is a violation of Angie's list rules. There is a phone number on the flyer for more information, and each time I receive the flyer I call the number and leave a message requesting my address to be taken off of his distribution list. Unfortunately he has never returned a phone call nor has he stopped putting notices on my door. So today I called and I told him since he doesn’t want to return my phone calls and doesn’t want to stop putting things on my door i was going to refer him to the Better Business Bureau. Surprisingly I got a phone call back today. He claims to never have gotten a phone call from me prior to this evening and that I should put a no soliciting sign on my front lawn to keep him from putting things on my door. I explained to him that I had no intention of doing so, because then I would not be able to contribute to the local kids who come around selling things. I then asked him politely to please take my specific address off of his distribution route. His response to me? Don’t you worry, We will never be doing business together. I have no intention of working with people like you.” Guess what buddy ... I have no intention of doing business with you either... Words speak volumes about a persons character I am not questioning the quality of his work, and I do not want a no soliciting sign in my yard for the exact reason I stated in my post - I like to support local community fundraising activities such as schools, scouts, etc. I have repeatedly called the number he advertises over the past few years and requested that he not tape flyers to my front door. It doesn’t matter whether he does it or hires someone to do it. However, the more important issue here is his rudeness and disrespect towards me when I asked him to stop. If I spoke to potential clients that way I’d be out of business .
