Maids in Black

Had been a client since 2013 and I've now been canceled on 8 times in the last year. Half the time my place was left a mess and not even vacuumed. Go elsewhere

I've had Celia's team come twice now and they've been great. After trying 4 other cleaning companies, they were the only ones to arrive on time - they were even a little early and offered to wait in the lobby until I was ready! They were very friendly, professional, efficient, and did a wonderful job. My dog even loves them :)

The employees were kind, respectful and prompt. They arrived on time and my daughter, who was home to monitor, stated they were very kind.

The cleaners arrived a LOT earlier than expected. Luckily, my job is flexible and allowed me to leave early. I think they did a great job, however, there were a couple spots missed in the bathtub. A few weeks later though, the tub and walls surrounding the tub started molding at an accelerated rate -- not sure why. The ladies were very nice and respectful and stayed beyond 2 hours to make sure they covered everything.

They come in monthly to clean my house. I have no complains from them.

We use Maids in Black for monthly cleanings. We like them because their service is great, their website is easy to use/schedule/reschedule cleanings. They are very responsive to emails. Our cleaners are wonderful. We have team Yolanda, and they are by far the best we have had (we had different teams in the past, but personally like Yolanda's team the best). We have two indoor cats, and they are very sweet to them and most importantly make sure they don't get outside while we are not home. We have had great experiences with Maids in Black. They are a little more expensive, but we like their consistency, friendliness, responsiveness, and they do a good job.

They did an okay job but I noticed something they had missed earlier. I did not like how they cleaned my floors and had them redo it. I am not happy because I came up missing a necklace. I don't know if they took it but it disappeared in the time they were here. I never mentioned this but chose not to use them any longer.

Of all the housecleaning companies we've used in DC, Maids in Black has been the most consistently high quality. They show up on time (!), they are thorough, and they always do a nice job.

They were OK. They did what they were supposed to and I was 85% happy with them. They didn't thoroughly clean the toilet bowl and they didn't vacuum the corners in the living room. If I used them again, I would supervise the cleaning.

Two people came to this and it took about 3 hours. They arrived on time. Everything smelled good they cleaned everything baseboards, window sills, and vacuumed. The only problem was that they had a small vacuum cleaner, provided by the company, so they used mine.

Very pleased with this service!!! They have also been on time, or early to each appointment so far.

They usually knock the cleaning out in 2 - 2 1/2 hours. They're dilligent. They move objects and clean thoroughly. They're very fast and typically show up a little early.

They clean the house and we can trust them. They are very professional, they do a good job and the price is not bad.

We have been using Maids in Black for over a year. I love them and am surprised they are not already on Angie's List. Having tried several different companies, I am pleased with the level of detail to which they clean. It's as good or better than I would do myself. My place is pristine when they leave. They bring their own supplies but will use something specific if you provide it (we use a particular floor and counter cleaner, for example). They are a bit pricey compared to independent providers, though they provide discounts for recurring service. I like that you can book online and pay by credit card/paypal. I have also found that their customer service is very responsive. They generally send the same team each time (I did bi-weekly and then switched to monthly) and if they are going to be late, the team leader calls in advance to let me know. Highly recommended.

This company has been fantastic. They are responsive to any requests, including scheduling or cleaning product changes, or other issues that crop up. They are punctual and very professional, efficient and friendly.

They did a great job on cleaning. The best thing was, you can book it online. You don't have to call and wait for someone to call you back. You get to see when they're available and I didn't see any other site that could do that, so I really liked that. But the two women were very good. They managed to clean things that I didn't think were going to come off and they were pretty quick and professional too. They were a little on the pricey side, I think I could have gotten cheaper, but I really needed someone and because they had the online booking tool, that really helped. With the movers it took me a week just to figure out who was available, because you have to call or email, wait for them to get back to you, then they ask you questions. It took so long to figure that out, so it just saved a lot of time.
