+ 0 moreWhen I buy stuff on sale from them, it’s a really good price. I got a tree at half price from them. It was an end of the year, so the price was very good. The price was like $100. When you get the right gardener, they’re very knowledgeable and helpful and they are good to work with from the garden center. From the regular plants, the indoor services and all they’re terrible.

Description of Work: Johnson's landscaped my rooftop garden. I have a rooftop deck and wanted an expert to repot all of my containers with plants and a few trees that are heat tolerant and can survive well on a rooftop. They did an excellent job!

+ 0 moreI spoke with Kelvin and told him if things went well, there would be considerable repeat orders. He assured me he would create a floral arrangement that would be unique, colorful, and fun. He did so. My daughter sent a photo, and she was very pleased. As of yet, she has not made it to the nursery to redeem her gift card, but she is looking forward to the adventure. I will definitely call Kelvin again!

Description of Work: We had an urgent request from a senior official in our company for a very special floral arrangement to be delivered same day. This was at 10:30 a.m and we needed them by 3:00 p.m. I spoke with Patricia in Design and explained our needs which were very specific as to the type and color of the flowers and the look of the vase, as well as the time crunch. She responded very graciously even after I called back to clarify the type of vase the arrangement should be in and to ask once more about the delivery time.

+ -1 moreJOHNSON'S FLOWER & GARDEN CENTER HAS A TERRIFIC SELECTION. ALTHOUGH THEIR PRICES SEEM A BIT HIGH COMPARED WITH OTHER NURSERIES; YOU'D LIKELY HAVE TO DRIVE OUTSIDE DC FOR LOWER PRICES. SOME OF THE PEOPLE THERE WERE NOT VERY WELL INFORMED THOUGH.
Description of Work: PURCHASED SEVERAL PLANTERS, A NUMBER OF PLANTS AND HERBS, 16 POUNDS OF SOIL, PLANT FOOD, AND SEVERAL NICE POTS.
