Mr. Dorsey and his employees were professional and courteous while cutting down a large tree and ivy removal . They removed all debris from the property leaving the area neat and clean. First, the company owner made appointment to visit the site and talk with the home owner to understand exactly what the owner wanted done. Mr. Bob Dorsey, owner, described what exactly he would do to perform the job. A day or so later he provided a price for doing the job. He maintained excellent phone contact to arrange the date and hour to perform the service. He arrived on time with two workers who did the work while we watched. The area was a difficult one in which to work. It was an urban forest adjacent to my property, with poison ivy and over grown underbrush. His workers were obviously experienced, worked efficiently. They cleared the underbrush around the trees, removed the ivy up to about 6 feet from the ground, and then treated the area around the tree with an ivy killer. Upon my request, they cut additional branches cluttering the area as well as vines climbing from ground to tree. I was very pleased. The owner and men were professional and pleasant. I gave them a tip and would definitely use their service again. They have done bigger jobs for two of my neighbors, cutting down and removing sizable trees. It should be noted that our homes are built on a hill which make all the work more difficult. My neighbors have been pleased and recommended Jewel Landscape, Tree & Construction, Inc to me. He promptly gave an estimate of the work for trimming or removal of the tree . I was undecided about whether or not to keep the tree. He did not pressure me either way but advised that keeping the mature tree would help in energy savings as it provided an ample amount of shading for the house. The end result met my expectations. The overall appearance was much improved and more balanced. He was knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely use this service again.
