He did a full check of my AC unit and thermostat. He then told me what would fix it in the short term, what we could do to fix it in the long term, and the cost implications for all of the services. I appreciated that he gave me a choice instead of just choosing the most expensive option and going with it!

I tried contacting this business twice through the site, particularly because they are a local D.C. Business near me, but they never responded to either contact.

So far so good. My building has hired them to be our heating contractor and I have hired them for our household AC contractor.

Fry Plumbing was fantastic from the initial home visit to provide an estimate to completion of the radiator installation. They were very thorough in walking me through everything included in the estimate, as well as showing me everything visually as he explained that they would need to drain the system in order install the radiator. We appreciated that they gave us the high end figure of what it would cost to the job, and it ended up coming in way under that because instead of needing to drain our whole radiator system, they only needed to drain a section of it--saving us big time on the cost of labor. We provided the refurbished radiator, which we had purchased at a salvage shop using the specs that Fry gave us. They were prompt, friendly and tidy, and the whole replacement took 2.5 hours.

Actually they are here today, installing the AC. I've been pretty pleased so far; I haven't had any issues yet. Their price could not have been beat; I had a couple other contractors and I got some proposals from a few. For comparable work, it seems like the unit - they had like the best price. They've been pretty responsive and really easy to get ahold of when I had questions about the proposal. They were on time; I don't think they arrived late at any point. I got a call letting me know when they were arriving and they were actually a bit earlier than that. They did great. So far, I've been pretty happy. There are three workers to complete the installation; they're pleasant and they're answering all the questions I've had.

They came prepared to do the work, but after seeing the location and the logistics of the job, the guys told us they would try to do it if we wanted, but were honest and said they probably weren't the best people for the job. They advised that we call an electrician, told us the type of wire we needed, and described what should be done to get the thermostat wire up through the new location. They were very polite about it and did not charge us anything.

On-call plumber suggested some troubleshooting I could do myself vs. calling out an expensive weekend repair. That totally solved my problem and I appreciated his giving free advice rather than just making extra $$ on a call.

Quickly. But the diverter piece has come a little loose since install.

The technician diagnose a substantially bigger problem than a simple cog in the plumbing system and was prompt to do the necessary repairs.

Fry plumbing was great about sending someone immediately and stuck with me until city plumber arrived.

I called on Monday morning with a backed up main drain and scheduled service for Tuesday. The rep said they would try to fit me in the same day, and they did! Jason and Marc showed up and took care of everything quickly and answered all my questions. The office explained all the pricing and I was charged below what was quoted.

Excellent they came when they said they would made the necessary repairs within one day. This was an emergency call and they fit me in to their already full schedule

Done on time and with out issue. Family owned, so not out for last buck.

They put me in touch with a different company that could remedy that. Within minutes of the flue cleaning they returned to make sure the boiler was operating properly. This happened over the course of two relatively cold days so the prompt service was most appreciated. The mechanics were knowledgeable and professional. They had the boiler up and running in a very short time. The person I spoke to at the office was very helpful and sympathetic to my need for quick service. Overall, a very positive experience in a very stressful situation.

Thomas was great, he cleared 3 drains and addressed everything* from bottom to top in less than an hour. *Unfortunately, the last item (top bathtub) proved to be very difficult, and took an additional 1.5 hours to clear and repair (due to damage that occurred during the snaking). There was also minimal cleanup, and I had to repair the bathtub access panel that was broken during the urgent removal that occurred when water started leaking through the ceiling below (addl damage). Lastly, I was told I would receive my receipt via email, as well as follow-up recommendations (for drywall repair), neither of which have arrived. Overall, I would still use them, especially if you have several issues to address, as I had many things resolved for a good price.

I called in the morning and they came that afternoon. It worked after they fixed. He called me back after I had question. They were nice.

They were amazing! I don't know how they made a really bad situation feel like a worthwhile experience, but they did! Shane was quick to write me back first thing in the morning after our sewer line backed up into our basement in the middle of the night. Two very jovial guys were at my house by 9:30 and fixed the nasty clog by 10:15. They were very informative and gave a lot of advice to prevent this from happening again! And to top it all off, they were infectiously happy. They did a fantastic job and lifted my spirits! I will definitely call them again for any plumbing issues!

Mark came by the same day I called. He was very thorough, and had some good advice for staying ahead of sink clogs. He and the company were a pleasure to deal with.

HVAC went out during a heat wave. These guys were prompt, fast, and gave me an honest evaluation of my system as a whole.

They gave me over the phone, Instructions because I’m a customer and maybe because they are these kind of guys. They get me instructions on how I might be able to diagnose the problem myself. and fix the problem myself to save money. And also get me instructions for pieces that I might need to order then install which need be, which I thought was very professional and I thought was very great service, because they were trying to help teach me rather than just take my money.

Overall. It was great. I will continue to call them. Another good point to put in there is that they honor the wealth burgle projects card. If you are doing a lot of projects. I did that through window universe. and because I already had that line open they were able to honour that line of credit and so they were able to do repairs using that some line of product.

It started out with a "drip" in the bathtub. Another plumbing company came and broke whatever it was they were trying to fix and then quoted such outrageous prices for installing a new piece, which would also apparently take 6 hours with 2 people, that I said no and contacted Fry instead. That was the best move I made, and not only did they do the job with just one person in three hours but also cost a lot less. Further, there was a glitch in the installation, and they promptly came back and fixed that. Mistakes can happen and it's probably more telling than the initial work when a company responds in such a manner. Very responsive, very professional, Melvin a very pleasant technician...and after all these years of trying out this plumber and that plumber, I'm happy that I finally know of a company I will use again and again and be able to recommend to friends. If there were an A+, I would have given that as a rating.
