Fry Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

Given a 4-hour window for when the repair person would show up, I was delighted when he showed up at the beginning of that window. Repair was quickly done and I was kindly charged half of what the usual charge is. I could not have been more pleased with the efficiency and kindness of Fry plumbing. Whenever possible, I try to use local DC enterprises. I rated all categories as "excellent". I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.

Angie's list claims this company offers free quotes. I called with a specific request and was told they couldn't offer a quote they would have to send someone out and charge a minimum $150 before doing any work or parts.

The plumber and his assistant called and asked if they could arrive sooner than the scheduled time. I was good with us, I’m glad they did the work took about six hours. Have an use them in the past on December 2017, I was happy then, and I am glad to say I will always use Fry’s Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

It went very well. The gentlemen who installed the water heater were very pleasant, kind, and explained everything that they were going to do before they started. Their attention to detail and open communication assured me that there would be no potential issues in the years to come. I truly enjoyed having them in my home and I will call them whenever I have plumbing needs. P.S. The price was also $1,000 cheaper than the three other estimates that I received from other contractors.

This happened on a Friday morning after two weeks of torrential rains causing area basements to flood, among other rain-induced plumbing issues. So plumbers were overworked and seriously backlogged. On the eighth try, when I was losing hope of finding anyone trustworthy with availability that day, Fry came to the rescue. The team of Marc and Casey were beyond terrific! They came ahead of the promised time, immediately correctly diagnosed the problem and likely location and then quickly set about their work. This entailed power-snaking a drain to over 50 ft out after having removed an otherwise unrelated toilet bowl for access. Marc explained things very well, and we also discussed Fry performing other work later on. And they cleaned everything up very well! Very professional--can't say enough!

They were on time and worked fairly quickly. They also helped me identify the real problem and explained how it would be fixed and, after I told them that wasn't in the budget for this year, did a great job of identifying an alternative, temporary solution that is working so far and will allow me to save the money needed for the true fix.

quickly, easily, and the plumber was courteous, friendly, and prompt. i had similar work done on another outside drain by another company and was totally dissatisfied. that company failed to complete the wok and still charged over twice as much as Fry.

A tech came out right away, the price quoted was substantially less than my first round of quotes from more "high SEO" firms I found on Google. Jeff listened to me and answered my questions. Fry's scheduled and completed the install quickly. They were a few minutes early for the scheduled time but texted to make sure that was OK. Install went smoothly and quickly and they cleaned up afterward. The new unit is working fine

These guys are amazing! Their technician was nice, friendly, and punctual, fixed the leak under our kitchen sink, and, amazingly, didn't even charge us. That is, of course, over and above what we might have expected. He noted that our kitchen sink faucet needs replacing, and we will definitely call them to do that work. The other reviews that I read are spot on!

Perfect. Showed up on-time with the appropriate parts and materials and completed the work in the promised time. Took pains to keep the work area clean and left the area spotless. The tech was in a clean uniform, professional and polite. Absolutely perfect.

The serviceman from Fry Plumbing was excellent. I cannot speak more highly of him. He was prompt, extremely competent, polite, and performed the job in record time. Rather than propose expensive new parts, he was willing to go to the store and find older parts in stock that he could use to repair the shower leak. He explained everything very clearly and it was a real pleasure to deal with him. Price was also right. Highly recommended.

Excellent! I wish all service calls were as painless, problem-free, and satisfactorily resolved as this one! I chose a 12 PM - 4 PM window, and Thomas, a personable, super-nice guy, arrived shortly after noon. A good sign: Too many times, I've had repair people show up 10 minutes before the window closes. Thomas quickly analyzed the problem and started to solve it. He knew exactly what was needed, and quickly replaced the faulty hardware. This guy knows his stuff! I couldn't be happier with the result, and the price seems very reasonable. I had a terrible time with an Angie's List-recommended plumber in the past---no-shows, unkept promises, no communications, unsatisfactory work, etc. Everything that could go wrong, did This time, I struck gold. Highly recommended.

From the initial estimator visit to the day of installation, the Fry team worked very well and were very responsive. Mark really followed through on everything he said would take place on the installation. The demolition of the old system went off without a hitch and they secured and oversaw the crane that was required to hoist the old and new condenser unit on the roof. The crew worked hard and all of it happened within the same day. They left the premises broom clean and took great care to make everything fit well. So happy we went with Fry!

They were punctual and professional, and fixed the problem at a reasonable price. They were also very knowledgeable about the old construction, and offered helpful recommendations on how future improvements could be planned and executed. I will solicit their services for upcoming repairs and renovations.

Very professional and caring company. Shane was my rep and he contacted me promptly and they were able to come out the very next morning. He explained everything thoroughly from the start of the job through to completion. I understood what work needed to be done, the actual and potential costs, and we went over next steps. The plumbers who came to my home were polite and professional as well. I never felt anxious or left in the dark about their plans for the job or the prices. The job is not complete yet but I am confident it will go smoothly. Highly recommended!

Fantastic. Problem was dirt billed up. The contractor explained to me what was going on and only needed to clean a part that caused miss firing for heating home. The contractor was professional and courteous. The office was also professional and courteous. They gave me a discount of $5 from $155. I told the contractor to tell his office that they were A+ from me and know who to call when in need. Thanks Angie this company is better than A+

Fine. It was the motor that went bad. One of my neighbor has them to work on her plumbing and she spoke very highly of them as well. Her name is Debra Mimi Alexander. I need to check to make certain that I didn't pay them twice! The first time with my bank and the second with my credit union bank.

Fry, and particularly their rep, Johnny, was just what we needed: a complete description of the work to be done (and what might go wrong), a reasonable estimate (not the lowest, but we trusted the company), and work completed as contracted and on schedule. What might have been a real mess was surprisingly fast and left little dust or dirt. A great job.
