She was excellent. She was quick. She gave me a very detailed analysis. She gave me verbal recommendations. I got more than what I paid, in terms of value. I would highly recommend her.

It was an okay experience. We had trouble scheduling and then they didn't show up for their appointment to go over the results with me so I still haven't done that but that's largely my fault. They didn't show up when they said they were gonna be here so I waited at home for them and they didn't come. I haven't finished the process yet. They did come in and they did the audit but I just haven't finished the process with them. The price was fine. As of now, I probably would not use them again in the future but I'm not finished yet so I need to call them back yet.

was on site all day to do readings, check on the insulation workers and do the sealing of the cracks and crevices, including the outside space between the house and concrete steps and patio. He answered my questions with patience and with as much detail as I wanted. He worked hard the entire day and I was impressed by his attention to detail and his commitment to the job at hand. High, high marks to him. The atmosphere of my house feels different but the measurable difference will be with the air conditioning bills and , later, the gas bills. I had the audit and work done primarily for my comfort as I felt drafts during the cold winter. A reduction in the bills will be an added bonus.

Pascale called me promptly, almost as soon as I sent her a message through the Angie's List message center. She visited our home with TONS of specialized equipment and took hours of measurements. She was able to clearly explain every aspect of what she observed, and what we would need to do about it. I've had energy audits done before (in Michigan) by someone who just walked around the house and then said, "Well, your windows aren't too good". This is not that kind of service. She literally checks for air leaks all the way around your foundation and inspects every inch of your house for inefficiency. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

The audit was done in a very thorough, professional and efficient manner. We knew we needed to do something about some problem areas in our house but were not sure what to do. Pascale did an excellent audit, gave us a comprehensive report, explained everything clearly and answered all our questions. The suggestions to address the problem areas made sense and we had the work done and have definitely seen an improvement. She was also punctual and responsive and followed up immediately when we contacted her. We were also eligible to apply for a rebate through our electric company and Pascale had the rebate application filed promptly. We would definitely recommend this company. (The above cost is what the home energy audit cost us, which is based on an energy efficiency improvement program through our electric company.)

Our experience with Energy Efficiency Experts was extremely positive. They showed up precisely at the time that had been agreed (no long time window was required) and the job was completed in a few hours just as had been promised. The audit was thorough and there was no trace of the visit afterwards. Most importantly, after conducting the audit, Pascale first explained in great detail and in a way that we could easily understand, the problems that she encountered. She used computer simulations and digital photos to make it comprehensive and within a few days mailed us the final report. She was extremely professional and clearly is an expert in this area. We would highly recommend them.

Background: My wife and I live in a multi-story contemporary townhouse that was built in 1983 with redwood siding. The exterior of the townhouse is maintained by the cluster and in fact all of the cluster townhouses were just restained in 2013 - something that is down every 5-6 years. Energy Concern: During the winter the rooms on the lower floor are so cold we avoid using them which is unfortunate as one room serves as our primary entertainment area. I always thought I knew the primary contributors to my energy problem namely the four big sliding glass doors and other windows that lined the back of the townhouse. However, my wife and I like to have a strategy and confirmation in hand before investing big bucks on any type of home improvements so we decided the first step was to get a home energy audit. I am so happy we did. Pascale Maslin and her assistant from Engergy Efficiency Experts showed up for our appointment right on time and immediately went to work. Results: After 2.5 hours of testing Pascale sat down with me and went over the highlights of her findings. I was surprised to learn that my windows and doors were actually in pretty good shape. It turns out the biggest cause of our discomfort is the leaky redwood siding. Pascal identified other ineffficiencies and make helpful suggestions on how to go about addressing them. Pascal followed up this onsite brieffing with a full written report that was received by email the following day. This report included photos and clear discriptions of the energy deficiencies found and recommendations to address them. Overall a very helpful audit that will allow my wife and I to target our home improvement dollars where they will do the most good.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment for a full audit -- which took nearly 3 hours. Arrival was as scheduled & they clearly used their time efficiently - no dillydally small talk (in a good way). Pascale & her associate took all kinds of readings, measurements & pictures. Then, went through all of the results with us, pointing out precisely where & what we could do to improve room temperatures, insulation needs, door seals, gas water heater venting, a/c maintenance, & more. She made suggestions on companies to use for recommended changes, but is an independent company & doesn't receive kickbacks from those companies. In fact, she's done before-after testing for work many have done, so she doesn't hesitate to share the good & the ugly in referrals! A copy of their report was emailed to us at the conclusion of reviewing the audit, so zero wait time for results. Would definitely recommend them!

We bought a new home in July 2013 that was originally built in 1968. Our first power bill was 3x more than our old house. We called Energy Efficiency Experts, who did a complete home energy audit, in the process discovering that not only was there only 2 inches of insulation in the attic, but the ductwork wasn't properly installed. Excellent write-up on the details. We subsequently hired them to perform the repairs on the house, which they did professionally, quickly, and at a fair price. We are very pleased with the company and their personnel, and highly recommend them.

Pascale and David came on time, spent a couple of hours going through the house testing and photographing, and produced a comprehensive report with energy saving suggestions and rebate information. They seemed both friendly and knowledgeable. Certainly would recommend the firm to anyone interested in improving the energy efficiency of their home.

The person who did the audit is obviously very knowledgeable about energy waste and savings. However she came into the house like a storm. Opened everything but closed nothing. She left a mess. She also spend basically telling me how I had wasted my money by having a particular company put in my storm windows and insulation. She was too aggressive for me.

Pascale came out to our home on Saturday morning to fit our schedule even though she doesnt typically do weekend work. She and her partner got to work right away and were done within 2 hours. They were both very friendly and professional and when she was presenting the audit resutls to us, i let her know that i am very new to home ownership and she broke everything down into a very easy to understand format so that i knew what the problem areas are and how they are affecting how comfort and bill price. We couldn't be happier with the service provided by Pascale Maslin and David Anderson of Energy Efficiency Experts. Not only were they professional, thorough, communicative, and honest, but they also advocated for us with the insulation company that we wound up using. When the insulation company came back with an estimate that was higher than Pascale expected, she called the company on our behalf and negotiated a lower price. She and David also offered to do some of the prep work for free (i.e., taking up the wood in the knee-wall attic and then putting it back down), in exchange for making a YouTube video of the process. In the end, between the work that we did and that done by the insulation company, we reduced the leakiness of our house by 35%!

This was a great deal. They were absolutely wonderful. They were on time and very professional.

I was very pleased with the inspection and learned A LOT! In fact, I have shared the detailed report I received with my neighbors who were also impressed. One of the reasons why I had this energy audit done was because of the 15-20 degree temperature difference between my basement and the top floor in the summer time. While I understand the upstairs will always be warmer than downstairs, the differences should not be to such an extreme. I wanted an independent person to inspect my duct work to see if that was part of the problem. I didn't want an HVAC company examining the duct work due to an obvious conflict of interest. I found out that indeed my duct work was a nightmare and needed to be replaced ASAP. I asked Pascale if it would help keep my upstairs cooler if I insulated my attic. She told me not to do that until the duct work is fixed because the insulation will actually make it warmer since the hot air will be trapped inside. This explained why my neighbors who had had their attics insulated told me the insulation did not help at all with cooling the house in the summer. I consider myself fairly energy efficient savie but I still learned a great deal from this audit. Surprisingly she did not recommend replacing the windows.

The performance was on-time, professional, and thorough. Pascale spent a lot of time with us explaining issues and options. They replaced our incandescent light bulbs with CFLs as part of the service. We received a 10-page written report, including pictures.

It was within the last couple of years. It wasn't an emergency. Energy Efficiency Experts did an audit, a survey to suggest ways to save energy around the house. It was very thorough, arrived when promised and gave us lots of good advice and very personable and knowledgeable.

The initial audit went fine but when they came back to complete the follow up audit, they forgot to file the papers for our Pepco refund so our refund was delayed.

The company was very quick to respond, schedule us, and show up to perform the audit. They set up quickly and efficiently, seemed quite thorough, and were finished within the window they promised us. They also cleaned up efficiently and left nothing behind. The report we received very soon thereafter was thorough, detailed, and well written. It was a very good experience overall.

Pascale did a great job on our audit, coming back with reasonable, actionable suggestions for how to improve the overall warmth of our house and had suggestions on providers that could help implement the suggestions. Well worth the cost of the service.
