I got wooden flooring done on my condo and could not be happier about the results, time it took to complete and overall experience. It was an incredibly seamless process from start to finish!

The job went great. The crew was on-time or early over the two days and very professional. There were no suprises, the quoted price was right on and the work was exceptional. I would highly recommend using this company if you need your wood floors refinished and will definitely consider using them for any future work.

The staff answered all of our questions and made several educational recommendations. We found their price very competitive. They staff came on time, and finished on time. They were very polite. We had previously worked with other large flooring companies, and with each of them we had different issues. We could not believe how everything went smooth with District Floor Depot for such a reasonable price. Highly recommending them.

We just had the wood floors refinished on the first floor of our house and District Floor Depot did a superb job, start to finish. The last time we had the floors refinished was when we moved in 25 years ago. And although we had carpets on most of the floor surface, the traffic areas were pretty worn. It was worth all the aggravation of having to move furniture, carpets, drapes, etc. as well as physically moving out of the house for two days while they did their work. The final result was just stunning. The crew--as well as everyone I dealt with on the phone--was experienced, efficient, and courteous...a rare combination these days.

Simply put, I couldn't be happier with the work done by District Floor Depot. They replaced flooring throughout the main floor of our row house due to plumbing-flood damage to the old floors. It was a tricky job, with a stair opening, installation of flooring under some semi-floating kitchen base cabinets, lots of cuts around some columns, etc. The work was carefully and beautifully done. The work done by District Floor Depot was far superior to the carpenter who originally installed the floors.

We had a little hiccup with scheduling but we all made it work. they did a great job.

I had great experienced from the people in the store and the installers. I really like how my floors came out. I am going to use District Floor Depot for my future projects.

I have used District Floor depot twice for flooring in my home, we choose All American Natural Hickory, and the finished product/service provided has always been consistent. I am continuously offered a lower price than other competitors, and this is important to us as we are having work completed in sections/on a budget. I recommend them to everyone I know who has flooring needs.

Great work by District Floor Depot. Due to water leak in our house, we needed to replace part of the flooring in our house. When we searched online, we found them with good reviews and now we give them all 5 stars from experience. We called to schedule for consultation, they explained their process, sent someone to measure, gave us a detailed estimate and scheduling was easy. They came in to install as they scheduled & they were fast, efficient and cleaned up before they left. Great customer service, value and floors look great. Go District Floor Depot.

Great price and installation for the new hardwood floors that we needed on the main level of our home. The floors look gorgeous. DFD's customer service and sales room experience was also top notch. I am happy with with my experience at DFD and recommend them.

We're very happy with our floors! District Floor Depot has great customer service. They were very patient in answering questions and helping us better understand flooring options and what would look best in our place. We appreciate how they let us take our time to decide on the right flooring option and compare several samples. The installation crew they sent was professional and courteous as well, and swapped out a few boards at our request. Overall it went smoothly and we're very happy with the result.

From estimate to installation, District Floor Depot made the whole experience as painless as possible. When the installers finished, they actually started cleaning the house, including the appliances, and were always careful to avoid damaging anything. The flooring looks perfect and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to call them again for any future work. This is how you run a successful business in a busy city.

I used District Floor Depot to repair my hardwood floor after substantial plumbing drain work ripped up part of the subfloor and finished hardwood floor. The whole process went very smoothly from scheduling through installation. The estimators, delivery people, and installers all came out on-time. The installation was in the basement after plumbing work had to expose the soil and joists. After installing insulation, the DFD technicians replaced the portion of the subfloor needed and weaved in new hardwood floor planks. They leveled the new planks with existing and refinished the entire floor. The estimators identified the type of wood and since there was no stain on the finished floor, there is little color difference between the new and old flooring planks

They are truly an outstanding company. Everybody from manny (estimator), to the call center, to the installers was a consummate professional. The work was impeccable and the service was outstanding. One of the best hires we have made!

After the new year, we replaced our upper level carpets with hardwood flooring and we were very satisfied with District Floor Depot. We are really enjoying the new flooring and decided to replace the flooring in our basement this time. We ordered the same type of floor and the install went smoothly. It’s great that we know where to go and what to expect. District Floor Depot once again exceeded our expectations.

Due to all the rain we had last few weeks, we had the water coming into our basement and damaging our carpet. So for the second time we turn to District Floor Depot. This is my second time using District Floor Depot, and on this occasion we had flooring services provided for our main living area. We choose All American Natural Hickory, and the entire process from start to finish was hassle free and smooth. We received a great estimate (10% less than another business) and they were able to complete the job in a timely manner. District Floor Depot is a family owned business, and it shows with their excellent customer service, pricing, reliability, and job completion. I plan to continue using them for other areas of the house.

District Floor Depot was great to work with, and everyone there is very helpful and friendly. We are demanding customers, from selection to installation. DFD came through fantastically. They were very helpful throughout the process, from setting up a visit, to helping us select the right floor for our needs, to installation, to trouble-shooting. We have a concrete floor in our basement and wanted to add laminate. DFD helped us go through our options, and never tried to push more expensive options. We ended up with a relatively new product that's waterproof and has a beautiful wood-like finish - a great fit for what we needed. The crew that did the installation was very professional and did a nice job of cleanup as well. We had a minor issue that needed correction and DFD was fantastic about followup and making it right. We were very happy with our experience and strongly recommend them!

We were pressed with time, but the staff at District Floor Depot accommodated us to make it happen On time. We were impressed with their wide range of selections, efficiency, as well as professionalism. Their advice on colors and other details are super helpful. We would definitely recommend this company!

Last year I wanted to change my carpet out with hardwood floors. I already had hardwood in the kitchen and foyer. I wanted to replace all the carpet with the same flooring or close to it. After speaking with lumber liquidators, Luna Flooring, Empire and a local shop in VA (that quoted me without a site visit) I decided to go with District floor depot. I stopped in the store on a Wednesday and the following Saturday Mani was at my home for a consult. He was very professional and did not try to upsell me on anything. He suggested the style he thought would be a perfect match and he was right. The following Monday I had a quote in my email. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the floors done so almost a 10 months later I called the store to see if I can get it done and they remember me and had all my information still and was ready to proceed. Heidy was very helpful and stayed in touch with me throughout the project until completion. Even as I changed some of the material and install dates they still was very professional and accommodating. I really like that I did not have to be home during the installation. The installers was prompt and early and did not waste any time getting to work. The team that did my installation worked from the time they got there until they left. And they left my home just as they found it. They cleaned up any mess that was made and took all trash with them. I did not find any trash in or around my home at all. Then to top it all off to get a follow-up call after the installation to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome was also a nice touch. They have a very customer orientated & professional staff overall. My experience was excellent. I highly recommend anyone that is looking to get their floors done to give them a look. I will be using them again myself to do my parents’ home next.

I’m an Architect in DC and took several customers to District Floor Depot. They have the best customer service, wide selection and very competitive rates. They even do the installation and charge a lot less than other flooring stores. I will highly recommend them to anyone.
