Description of Work: Jose Henriquez and his team at DC Handyman performed a lot of work for me and did an excellent job. They painted my entire house inside and out, remodeled a bathroom (new toilet, new vanity, new tile floors, new trim, drywall work), installed new light fixtures, put up house numbers, and so many other little things that I can't list them all here. We were trying to get our house ready for sale, and Jose's team was absolutely worth the investment (ps their price was the best out of 4 estimates).

Description of Work: They painted a bathroom, loft, and a bedroom wall, and did a great job. The painters were professional and very efficient; they took much less time than I had thought and the finished product was top notch. I will definitely hire this company again.

Description of Work: Handyman services. The deal was for six hours. After one and a half hours of work, the worker was ready to go. When I called the owner, he told me he felt that the less than 2 hours of work that was done was equivalent to six hours of work. After much back and forth, he finally came and SLOWLY did some items in an effort to run out the time. I have no faith in the integrity of this company.

Description of Work: They identified a problem that several other companies were unable to identify. They fixed the problem well and even painted over some scuffs on the wall that were unrelated. I would be happy to use them again.

Description of Work: Wow... the two repairmen got through my list of minor repairs and then some. They changed a rotting exterior board and painted it, fixed a broken window trim, calked a sink, repaired ceiling fan lights, installed a wireless door bell, and a pushed button door. They were punctual, efficient, professional, resourceful and courteous. I will definitely hire them again, as soon as my list as a few items on it! actually I asked them for an estimate to change a window. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Description of Work: Appeared for the first visit, gave an estimate for an additional $450.00 which I agreed to, however they never returned to begin job. No money was exchanged.

Description of Work: Nothing much! Two men showed up. I asked for a window shuttle to be painted and hung. There were 2 shuttles in the box. The smaller of the two was painted and hung. It took more than an hour for the wrong shuttle to be painted and hung. When asked why would they paint the wrong size shuttle and then hang it on the house. One of the men replied, I thought that's what you wanted up there. There were three matching window shuttles already hanging side-by-side on the house. The job was to replace the shuttle that had fallen with a new painted one. The short one is still hanging on the house. He then took the next hour and a half painting a small powder room with one coat of paint. | The second man spent his entire time preparing a window to be painted. Both moved very slow. | I told them that I really was not satisfied with this deal because nothing was completed/finished and I paid $199. One of the men stated, "you can afford it. So, I asked why would you say that? He replied, you live over here in this nice, big house. So, I said a big house does not always mean you have money" Then, I said thank you and its time for you to leave.

Description of Work: We designed a chandelier for our dining room made from an old ladder, individual fixtures, and Edison light bulbs. We bought the materials and explained the idea for design.
