Brookland called ahead of time to diagnose the problem. Very responsive and professional.

I made an appointment with Brookland Plumbing because my toilets are not flushing cleanly. They came, determined the job was more than they could handle, and recommended someone who could do what they think is needed. Because they didn't really do anything except make that recommendation they didn't charge me for the visit. I appreciate this, and this is why I wrote this review.

This company is great. They're honest, punctual, and extremely professional. Because they're a smaller company, they do charge less than other large companies that use subcontractors. They are thorough, knowledgeable, and cleaned up their mess when they left. Will definitely use them again.

Like All of the reviews before me, it is difficult to find the superlatives to describe these men. They arrived on time and spent two hours diagnosing and solving the problem. The cleaned up after themselves better than I would have done. They are friendly and pleasant to work with. In short, you couldn't ask for a better repair experience.

Two plumbers from Brookland plumbers arrived on time. They quickly identified the problems with a broken garbage disposal and a leaky faucet. Both problems were resovled with one visit as they had the necessary parts in their truck. It was an exremely pleasant experience.

Brookland Plumbing will now be out plumber of choice. The company is reasonably priced and the work performed is excellent. The staff is courteous and friendly. Carlos is very professional and I trust him to explain what is needed, what is not needed and precisely what work he plans to perform.

The owner of Brookland Plumbing and his father did the work at my home. They were both very sweet and easy to work with. There were a few hiccups that they encountered which slowed things down a bit but they still managed to get most of the work done and did it with a smile. Our estimate for the work had been closer to $400 but I cannot blame them for the overages considering there was some faulty plumbing they needed to correct. I did ask them to double check that my basement was fully set up for a washing machine that was going to be installed later that week. They assured me everything was good to go, however when the man came to install the machine he explained that we weren't hooked up. Not sure where the lines of communication were crossed. Secondly, a toilet on our second floor was wobbly and needed to be resealed. I have to admit, I'm not sure if there were clues that could have suggested there would be issues but when the plumbers pulled the toilet from the floor, all of the tiles beneath and around the toilet came up and cracked on their way. The reason was, a previous owner had installed tile overtop of a linoleum floor instead of removing the linoleum and placing tile on the base floor. This issue was causing the wobbliness in the first place. Until we can pull up all the tile, remove the linoleum and lay a new floor, the toilet is completely out of commission. I do want to reiterate that I don't know enough to say whether or not there were clues that the second floor was present. So I don't want to put too much blame on the plumbers for this pre-existing issue.

I cannot say enough about Luis and Reynol. They were on time - left the major decisions on what materials to use to me - they even scrubbed the floor under my refrigerator. The scheduling process is a bit slow. I think this is because it is a small family owned business and there may only be one person in the main office handling the logistics. Be patient - the service and cost is well worth the wait! I will definitely be using them again.

100 percent prompt and professional. The guys showed up within a few hours of me calling and were able to fix the issue in 2 hours. You can trust these guys to do the job timely, correctly and without doing work that is not needed. great crew!

A great experience. I called with a semi-urgent problem. My dishwasher was backing up and leaking due to a broken/clogged disposal. They were able to get a team of two over within an hour or two. They arrived as promised. I already had a new disposal and they had it installed within 45 minutes or so. They also fixed two troublesome toilets within the one-hour service call. It turns out the problem was relatively easy to fix, but if they had told me I needed new fittings, I would have believed them. I really appreciated their fixing the toilets within the one-hour call so that it did not cost me anything additional. This is the first time I used them and I am relieved to have a reliable, go-to plumber.

Very reasonably priced, very personable, fixed the issues we discussed. Not very clear in communication about how one of the fixes would mean existing supply lines were no longer usable, which created additional work on our end.

Until we looked at the water bill and contacted the water company, we did not know that there was a problem. The bill was twice the amount it usually is. (When you flushed the toilet, we could know hear the water still running until we got the bill). I called Brookland Plumbing and they came on time and checked all the bathrooms. They did a good job. It did not take 30 minutes.

The plumbers (father & son) arrived promptly at the top of our 2 hr. appointment window. They are pleasant guys and an effective working team. The exterior repair was completed successfully in fairly short order. The interior repair, on the other hand, took about an hour to reattach the broken pipe to the shut-off valve while working in an extremely narrow and awkward space. I was happy with the result and very appreciative of their hard work under taxing conditions. This was the 3rd time I've use this provider's services and I always feel I've received very good value for the $$ I've spent.

The new diverter is of better quality than the one replaced and the copper pipes coming in behind the shower had to be replaced and re-routed. Raciel and his father were very careful and conscientious about their work.

We had two leaks one under a kitchen sink and one under a bathroom sink. Father and son (I believe) showed up on time and were very polite and friendly. They got to work right away looking at the leaks. They noticed that the leak under the bathroom sink seemed to not have been leaking for weeks and suggested that it might be that it did not need fixing because it was no longer leaking when they ran the water. I appreciated that and haven't had any problems since. They pretty quickly discovered that the leak under the kitchen sink was due to our faucet being completely shot. Home Depot was nearby so they suggested that they take out the old faucet while we bought a new one. The timing worked out perfectly and they were able to install the new faucet quickly. The entire spam of time only took about two hours and they charged very reasonable rates. They seemed trustworthy and you can tell its a family run business which is nice. The wife seems to book the appointments and she was very pleasant and accommodating.

I called Brookland Plumbing to rempair a broken swer pipe under the sidewalk between my house and the street - and to have a backflow preventer installed. The staff for very nice but not at all knowledgeable about either process. I was given incorrect information about what steps were necessary to address the broken pipe and was unable to get a clear answer about the installation of backflow preventer which seemed to common knowledge among all of the other plumbers I called. Bottom line: Nice people, don't seem to be too terribly competent.

I called Brooklands and left a message, and a very nice woman called right back. When I explained my problem, that the my sink wasn't draining properly and the garbage disposal wasn't working properly, she suggested I try two things: 1) press the red button on the bottom of the garbage disposal to re-set it and 2) use the alan key taped to the disposal to manually rotate the motor. She said that if neither of those things worked, I could call her back and she could schedule me in for a service call to check/replace the garbage disposal (I. I tried both things and lo and behold, problem solved! I really appreciated the knowledge and professionalism of the woman I spoke with. I will definately be calling them for any future plumbing problems.

excellent. The arrived on time, went right to work, and were finished within half a hour. The last time I had this done the plumber tool longer and charged more. I will definitely use Brookland Plumbing again.

The provider was delayed due to another client. I received a call to alert me about the issue prior to my appointment time. Regardless they still came well within my appointment window of 2 hours and quickly performed all the needed installations. They were even able to assist in getting my oven to sit flush against the wall by modifying the area directly behind the gas valve. I would definitely recommend these guys too anyone looking for a plumber in the area... oh and no additional service charge!

Basement flooded and killed the water heater. Brookland Plumbing came over on a Sunday to check it out. Very nice folks. They said best if we get a replacement that was the same model or similar, because there was not a lot of flexibility in the location of the existing piping/venting. The water heater model was no longer available, but, armed with a number of photos of the existing installation, Raciel was able to find the right replacement unit. There was no problem installing the new one. Prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. I called them because of the favorable Angie's list reviews, and they came through.

Raciel was courteous, competent, and efficient. We have found our go-to plumber.

Estimate and installation took place within a week of each other. Very punctual, professional, friendly and cleaned up afterwords. Pricing was very transparent in terms of parts and labor costs.

Brookline has come to our house twice and I plan to continue to use their service. They were on time and very professional both times. We have an older home that needs a lot of renovations, so the first time I called to have them install a gas shut off valve in the kitchen. It turns out it was just very well hidden but he took the time to check for safety and answer a few other questions I had. They came out again to fix a broken toilet a few months later. They were very efficient and again were willing to spend some time answering questions and giving some feedback about future repairs we need on other things around the house.

Everything went wel. Showed up on time got the main problems fixed and even spent some extra time making sure other stuff was working well.

They were great and the service was really good. The scheduler is so pleasant and helpful and the plumbers are great. They were very efficient and clean. They are always polite. I really like them!
