Mr. Suarez came exactly when he said he would, he did the job very efficiently and professionally, he charged a very reasonable rate. We were very pleased.

See previous entry for details. I was happy with his work on the sink, but I wish I had known that he would not be able to repair/replace the hose bib (so I could use my outdoor spicket) without cutting out drywall. It is a bit expensive to pay for an hour's time for such a small job. I understand this is policy, but it is just my thought.

It was the first time we had used them and they did good work. They showed up on time and got the job done in a professional manner. We felt the price was a little high, but we would definitely recommend them to others in our area.

We were very pleased with the services. Raciel worked both on my old place (which I'm renting out) and came the next day to the new place. He was friendly and honest about what needed to be done.

Raciel came to help and was laid back and friendly. The drain was not an issue-took 30 minutes maybe. The problem with the shower was that he didn't have the unit that would solve the problem (apparently there is a kit that has an extended shower head and circular curtain rod for just this situation). I didn't know that and so Raciel had to go to a store to pick up the equipment. It took about an hour, which I had to pay for, but I guess that is standard in the industry. The only thing I noticed was that the hot and cold handles in the shower are backward. Not a huge deal, especially for a temporary solution and being the only one that uses the shower, but for a more permanent job I would have called back. Also, Raciel discovered that my utility sink drain was clogged. He recommended some actions (such as just trying Drain-O) first to save me some money rather than have him look at it. He was right on and the problem was solved shortly after he left.

Water was leaking in small amounts from the base of the toilet, and it was no longer anchored solidly to the floor. Mr. Suarez quickly diagnosed the problem, but made a point of offering a less expensive fix (caulking) than replacing the seal. He also suggested looking in the basement below to see if there had been any leak damage. It took him less than an hour to replace the seal and caulk; he cleaned up thoroughly. I recommend him highly.

Great. Plumber was on time. First available appointment was about 10 days after initial call, so be sure to call immediately if you have a more serious problem.

I sent an email explaining the situation (an upstairs toilet leaking into the downstairs bathroom), and 2 days later had received no reply. I've booked the services of another company.

Mr. Suarez was able to get to my condo in just a few days from my call. As promised, he was prompt, and did an estimate on site, but came prepared to do the work. I had a friend let him in. After a quick call to me at work, he repaired the spicket for a very reasonable price. He was nice and easy to work with. He did the entire job for less than the first company I called charged for just an estimate!

Mr. Suarez spoke with experience about the plumbing system and performed the work with professionalism and diligent work. All has gone well since the repair.

Raciel answered my initial phone call in less than two rings. He came the next day and gave me an estimate. He did the work as planned and on the spot and was very courteous. Overall we are very happy with Raciel and his work.

Excellent. After sewer line excavation to our front yard, we had it completely landscaped. Unfortunately, the garden hose attached to a faucet on the front of the house. Each time we used the hose, we had to navigate new rose bushes and other new plants that were between the faucet and what we were watering. Some of the shrubbery was getting damaged, so we decided we needed to move the faucet and hose away from the front of the house. Raciel returned our call within three days; gave us an estimate within that week and completed the work himself within 10 days. He charged $157 for parts and $200 for labor (2+ hours), which was what he estimated. The work was completed on time, without any trouble. The faucet is now on the side of the house. The hose comes around a small retaining wall and does not damage the new shrubbery. We are very pleased.

Brookland showed up as promised and on time. Very courteous and professional. He double checked my diagnosis and found it to be faulty. He was detailed in what had to be done and explained approx how long it would take. Excellent service.

Raciel was great. Confirmed the appointment the day before, showed up on time and charged what struck me as an exceptionally reasonable amount for the work. I had already done the diagnosis and most of the minor demo required to get to the pipes behind the wall. I had also purchased the gas shut off, flexible hose, new kitchen faucet and supply lines prior to his arrival (so those are not included in the cost). He had to replace a little more than we hoped, but he warned me that this would likely be the case before he did any pipe cutting. He prioritized doing only what was necessary and replaced the T by the stack only when it became clear that the threads on the old T were beyond repair. For a homeowner that wants someone to work with (rather than someone to just pay to get it over with), Raciel is a perfect match. He consulted me every step of the way so that it felt like a joint effort--I always knew what he was doing and why. I would hire him again in a minute.

Raciel responded immediately to the call. As a lucky break, he'd just had a cancellation for that morning, showed up promptly, did the work efficiently with patience and good humor, answered all of my questions and explained the problem clearly, and was overall cheerful and friendly.

The job went without a hitch. I provided the parts and he had all the equipment he needed (hammer drill included). I was very happy with the job he did. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I will absolutely call him again for any plumbing needs.

Excellent. Raciel came on a Friday morning, when we had made an appointment, and removed the old sink. He began installing the new sink when he realized there was a potential flaw in it (a hole that might or might not leak once it was installed). He told us about it, and we delayed the installation of the new sink until we could find a replacement. He came back two days later, on a Sunday morning, as agreed upon, to install the new sink. Since we needed to exchange the sink, Raciel gave us a list of materials for the project, so we could purchase them ourselves (meaning he wouldn't need to get them and charge a markup). Raciel was professional, cleaned up any messes he made, was committed to completing the project quickly, pointed out potential problems with the sink we had purchased, and saved us money by providing a list of materials we could purchase ourselves.

Mr. Suarez arrived exactly when he said he would. He evaluated the job, and explained the different ways of dealing with the problems that had been created by the work done many years ago, explaining also that most of the pipes were in good order. He worked efficiently and when I had to leave the house for an appointment, I felt completely comfortable leaving him to work. Mr. Suarez is everything one could want in a plumber; super knowledgeable, skilled, honest, and really nice. He takes the time to explain what is necessary and why, and provides good advice. I will be doing a good deal more renovation in my house, and I will most certainly be calling Mr. Suarez.

We were very pleased with their work. Mr. Suarez himself came out to analyze the problem and came up with an inventive, elegant, and inexpensive answer to our lead pipe problem. He also assisted me by providing documentation that the water leak was the direct result of faulty lead-pipe replacement by a third party the previous year. He began the work at 9 a.m., finished by 5 p.m., and cleaned up very nicely behind his crew. We highly recommend his services.

Mr. Suarez arrived on time and was very gracious and polite. He quickly addressed the problems and resolved the issues. He was extremely professional, kind, and efficient. I was so pleased with the service and customer service I couldn't wait to offer my opinion on the Angie's List website as well as echo the resounding recommendation others have given Brookland Plumbing.

He was on time, did good work and the price was extremely good. I actually ended up tipping him because the price was so good.

Raciel Suarez set up an appointment to review the work within 3 days of my first calling him, arrived on time, and then carried out the work within a week. He arrived on time, worked solidly all day without a break, and did a high quality job.

So far it went well. He was the only one of three estimates I got that didn't try to talk me into repairing my entire house. The pipe broke, it needed repair, he did it. In and out for a reasonable fee.
