Excellent..I had 2 plumbers look at this issue previously and both charged me for their time, but did not fix the problem. They estimated it would cost $500 to fix, but Brookland Plumbing came in and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. They were very easy to deal with and communicated with me constantly.

I liked that they worked with my schedule. I was really busy and they made sure that they were there on the date and time agreed upon. After hooking the machine to the water, he made sure that it operated properly.

One of the sinks in my house was not draining correctly, and the cold water did not work. It was determined that I might need new piping to solve this problem, but Brookland was able to find a creative way to solve this issue at a lower price. They were very professional, and I would use their services again.

They finished the work in the time frame they expected and worked consistently and quickly. They replaced all the piping in 2 and half days. They were fast, efficient and friendly.

Raciel and Co. arrived on time everyday. Personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Since the project was rather large, Raciel gave me daily updates on what he had done, and what he planned on accomplishing that day. I had no qualms about leaving them unattended with free reign over my house, to do what was needed. The entire process was as smooth as could be, given the scope of the work. Everything required to be done within the scope of the contract was done. Quality of the work is excellent. No flaws or defects found in my entire house. Eileen was great coordinating estimates, scheduling, and handling all the front office requirements.

They came out right away and diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly. They charged by the hour and their work was quick and complete.

Very well. I feel much better knowing there isn't a gas leak and got great tips on how to care for my bathroom faucets, dishwasher and kitchen sink, and how to fix minor repairs so that they function better and look nicer. I have lived in my property for 3 years and this is the first time I called a plumber. I found Mr. Suarez through Angie's List.

I have had numerous contractors in the month that I have owned my first house and Brookland Plumbing was definitely the best so far! They was friendly and courteous despite their tight time schedule and made sure to tell me their rate before they started so I knew exactly how much it would cost me and there were no surprises. What initially looked like a quick job actually took them over 5 hours, but they stuck with it and completed the job. They even pointed out things the home inspector had missed and I have scheduled another appointment for them to come back in two weeks.

Great. They completed the work after scheduling a repair in a single day. The work took less than their minimum one hour, so they volunteered to fix some minor leaking faucets in our upstairs bathroom. Polite, courteous and well organized.

I was very satisfied with the service. Raciel is very personable and explained everything clearly. What he could fix, he did. He also explained the other things that were of concern and what I needed to do to get them fixed. Excellent service. I will definitely hire them again.

I called to have a quote for some work to be done. The representative came out to give said quote. When I called back to set the appointment to have the work done, I was told that the $50.00 quote fee was not going to applied to the work (that was originally explained to me). Needless to say that I was strongly disappointed. After the fact, the representative did agree to reimburse the $50.00 fee. I will NOT be calling this plumber for anything. Estimated cost was $50.

I couldn t be happier. Without a doubt, Brookland is the most reliable contractor I've worked with. Setting up an appointment was easy--I left a message on their machine and was called back in less than an hour. They called the day before to confirm that the appointment still worked for me (who does that anymore?!) and showed up exactly on time. Get this: I made a mistake and the installation for the sink was more complicated than I had described which required a different sink and a separate appointment. But Raciel (the plumber) did not charge me for visit. When they came again, Raciel and his helper did the work efficiently, without undue noise, and finished early. More than that, they entertained my two year old son who asked questions about everything that they did. They wanted to charge me less than what they had quoted but I insisted on paying full price. And, they cleaned up thoroughly and took out their own trash. This is a quality operation.

When I noticed one morning that the water suddenly ran icy cold for a few seconds while on hot, it was clear it was time for a new water heater. After consulting Angie's List "A" plumbers, I called Brookland Plumbers and talked directly to the owner, Raciel Suarez. When our schedules seemed impossible to coordinate he volunteered to come the next morning - a Saturday. Raciel and his helper were a few minutes early, replaced the water heater, a couple of pipes and a valve. They were not only prompt, but efficient and very pleasant. While the pipe and valve replacement were not included in the original estimate, Raciel charged only for the parts (which were not expensive). We arranged that Raciel's wife, Eileen, would call with the final amount, and e-mail me an invoice. In the meantime, I gave Raciel a check to fill out. That too went perfectly - Eileen called in less than an hour. All in all, one of the easiest, and most gratifying, experiences in years of home repairs.

The plumber was courteous and efficient. He showed up when he said he would and charged less than he could have.

I can't recall over the past 7 years since I've lived in my condo a more efficient, competent, fairly priced and all around positive experience with any company that has done plumbing or other work in my building. Raciel and Eileen with Brookland Plumbing made time for me on a very busy weekend (when they do not normally take appointments) to diagnosis and fix a water leaking problem I was having with my hot water heater. The problem was identified and corrected in less than an hour, and there was none of the usual "you need a new water heater" line that I've heard before from so many other plumbing companies. An outstanding job done by some very fair, competent and nice people.

Very responsive on the phone in setting up the appointment and flexible with scheduling. Work was done perfectly and cleaned up by the time I returned home. Highly recommended!

I called Brookland after seeing their positive reviews on Angie's List. They called back promptly, and offered me a variety of times they were available. They showed up exactly when they promised (were early, in fact) and were quick, polite, and thorough, and the price was very reasonable. It was only a small job, but I would certainly use them again for other plumbing work.

Everything went great! Raciel was very punctual arriving when he said he would to prepare the estimate as well as when he came back to perform the work. We received the estimate via email on the day expected and were provided clear, concise breakdown of cost. We are relieved to know that in the future if we have plumbing issues we know who to call!

We contacted Brookland Plumbing to install the gas line to a new gas dryer. During installation, Raciel pulled our gas oven located in our kitchen (directly above the dryer in the basement below) from the wall to get a good look at how the gas pipe was situated. In the process, something came loose on the old oven, causing it to have an internal gas leak. We made that discovery several hours after he completed his work. We called him and he returned to the house the next morning. We agreed that his pulling the oven from the wall was the cause of the leak--an unfortunate occurrence that would certainly have happened to anyone who would have moved the oven. Without any prompting from me, Raciel immediately offered to pay the cost of a new, comparable oven. I insisted that this was overly generous. We agreed that he would pay half. I bought the oven later that day and emailed Raciel to tell him the cost. We received a check two days later. Pretty amazing, huh?

While Brookland Plumbing has provided good service in the past, recent exchange with them suggests that they are not professionally managing their growth. It took several months to obtain a follow-up appointment. They then blamed me for a theft from their high-class truck -- which I had told them to move onto my property but they did not and it was broken into. The GPS was left on the dash board inviting a break in. When I scheduled the follow-up they were very nasty about the previous break in and I chose to sever my connections with them. Again, the service quality is fine but professional management is lacking. For the price Suarez now charging he is no longer a deal and folks looking for a plumber would be better served looking elsewhere.

After scanning for "A" companies only, and making several calls, Brookland Plumbing was the only one I didn't have to wait for a call back. I lucked out using this criteria. Within a day or two, he came to inspect the current heater and its location in the apartment. The water heaters in these condos use 208 volts, not the normal 240 so this, in addition to Veteran's Day, could have caused the 10 day wait. On the day of installation, Raciel and a helper removed the 17-year-old one, replaced it with the new, and replaced the old sink fixture. All of this took hours longer than expected as the pipes for the new heater had to be reconfigured to fit into the space. During the job, both men resolved unforeseen problems with careful thought, calmness, and good humor. There was also "value added" when they unexpectedly included a separate water shut-off valve for the water heater.

They were extremely professional and prompt. He came over within 10 mins. of calling and installed a water heater that same afternoon. He even went to the home improvement store and picked it out. He warned me that I might want to get comparisons, but since I needed the work done immediately, I went with him.

They were great I highly recommend, they are straight forward and honest.

Excellent. They gave me an approximate estimate over the phone (charged by the hr. because the job was small). Then the plumber who came out was actually early (unfortunately I was unable to accommodate him because I was coming back from work). He came in did exactly what was needed (moving the gas line and threading it up through the floor in the place I had requested) in exactly the time he had predicted and cleaned everything up. During the work he explained precisely what he was doing and why and why some of the things I had requested were not possible. Later he called because they had forgot to turn the gas back on so he promptly sent someone out to do that. I was so pleased with the work that I have already scheduled him for another job.

Raciel showed up on time and with an assistant. They installed the gas line and gas log in about four hours, including a trip to the store for supplies. After that, it took about 45 minutes to take apart the upstairs faucet and diagnose the problem that was causing the leak. I have to compliment Raciel's wife, who does his scheduling--she was very pleasant to talk to, returned calls and e-mails promptly, and called the day before to confirm our appointment.
