Ant Builders - Shy Nair

Description of Work: Ant Builders renovated my bathrooms last fall. One of the shower head had been dripping after use. Ant Builders owner Ms. Nair determined that the problem was with the valve. She ordered a replacement valve that Delta provided free of charge and had her plumber installed free of charge. Problem solved. Ant Builders has done several projects on my house and rental houses. Their service, including post-project service, is superb.

Description of Work: Kitchen, ceilings and misc drywall and painting.

Description of Work: I have nothing but excellent things to say about Ant Builders! Shy responded to my request promptly, came over TWICE for an estimate and a follow up, arrived on time, and gave an extremely competitive estimate that showed they really understood older houses (townhouse originally built in 1880) and explained how they would do it the RIGHT way and why it was worth it even if it might cost a bit more than to cut corners. Unfortunately my situation changed and I wasn't able to go ahead with the project, but meeting them and discussing the project (compared to several other contractors) made me realize that Ant Builders were hands down the most professional and experienced team that I felt MOST comfortable trusting with the work. I hope to use them sometime soon!! Thank you for all your efforts, they were extremely appreciated!!

Description of Work: Needed a rooftop deck relplaced. Eventhough I ended using another service (my job was at the handandyman level) Shy was very helpful, honest and responsive. Would definitely use her for the next time I have a big job.

Description of Work: Called Ant builder due to their great reviews on Angie's list. Unfortunately, I left a message on and didn't get a return call. I called back 4 days later, reached someone and they said they are not taking new clients because they are booked through Feb. The message I left indicated we were looking to get something done quickly because we are expecting a child. Maybe that's why we didn't get a call back, but they could have called us back.

Description of Work: Alex and Shy came out to look at shoring some floor joists in my basement and adding a new support post and footing. They were very punctual and arrived to provide an estimate as promised. Unfortunately, they were busy through the time frame which we needed to have the work performed, however they were nice enough to recommend a contractor that they work with occasionally who might be able to do the work.
