I should have used Angie's list to pick our first pool service and repair provider. Lesson learned. I chose Hunter based on previous reviews and their A rating. True to their rating, the experience has been an A from start to finish. From the start, Hunter understood and listened to our concerns based on our previous nightmare experience with Murphy Pools, LLC. They expressed empathy and were incredibly accommodating to our feelings. They answered all of our questions expertly and helped us order the right heater based on our concerns. They contacted us as they said they would immediately when the heater arrived and even installed it earlier then they said they would, on Labor day weekend, no less. Wow! We paid a bit more for a Nickel heating unit (at our request), but I can see already that is was worth it. The installers, Jesse and his assistant (didn't catch his name) were funny, engaging, prompt, knowledgeable and professional. When they realized they had brought the wrong heating unit (propane instead of gas), they actually drove back to the Hunter office (pretty far away and on a Labor day weekend), came back and installed it .. with smiles on their faces. I was incredibly grateful and impressed. I would recommend Hunter any day.

My experience with Hunter's pool was phenomenal, they were great. They were professional and they completed the job in one day. There was no mess. They were just a great group to work with.

I compared prices and could have found comparable product for less - but I had been owner of 2 prior pools and knew cost of a poor install. I declined to buy from any pool company that does not do their own installs. This company was recommended by my tree/lawn service provider and others. --Selection was easy and I knew what I wanted (and what I could afford) - Hunter Pools knowledgeable and were providing all quality products with their pool packages (I had extensively compared pool products from several sources both in person and online) --.One of the owners comes on the job to work with his well-trained staff. Watched this install and sorry I did not photograph as they were real pros - everyone had a job and knew what they were doing! Very impressive - nothing at all like my previous installs. The grading work was excellent - pool is level and liner smooth(okay one small wrinkle)-- Happy with the filter and chemical recommendations - my blue sparkling water so far has been easy to maintain and looks great.--I did have one issue of two small stones under liner (called and they corrected the next day) - I am so used to poor service that I had expected to wait weeks. Swimming and Smiling!
