Description of Work: Tyler performed an inspection prior to purchasing a home. thank goodness we used Tyler, he was honest and very straightforward. He discovered a problem with the well and we ended up walking away from the deal. We are very thankful that we used him. so much so that we used him again on our next home inspection and that one went perfectly. I would strongly recommend Tyler again.

Description of Work: Our pump had shut down completely. I called Tyler and he switched his schedule around, since his morning job wasn't an emergency. He was able to pull up our pump and see that it had been struck by lightning. He replaced it. It took about 3 to 4 hours. We had to run the water for hours that day and the next to get clear water. He put in a pathogen killer, which tasted unpleasant for about a week. It was as good a job as we could have asked for.

We called them after being fleeced by a plumbing company on an emergency call (including being overcharged for the time worked), and we couldn't be more pleased with the service and attention we got from Professional Pump. Smart and knowledgeable, they were very generous with information and time, answering all of our many questions about water holding tanks and what would and would not work for our well/pump/tank configuration. Their prices were hundreds of dollars less than another plumbing company, and they gave us enough information to decide for ourselves what kind of water tank we needed - they also disclosed that the tank another plumbing company recommended to us would have required annual servicing and maintenance while other types of tank do not. Excellent emergency service as well. Having problems with your water is always unpleasant and never convenient. These guys make it bearable. We're only using Professional Pump from now on, and we're recommending them enthusiastically to our neighbors, too!
Description of Work: Professional Pump installed a new well cap (as required by CT law) after another plumbing company failed to do so when they replaced our pump. They also installed a new water tank for our well.
