The day after the Nor'Easter hit Connecticut, we were supposed to drive in to New York City for a concert. Our Plow Service called Sunday morning to say our driveway was blocked by downed trees and limbs and there was no way they could plow or remove the limbs. My husband has health issues and we are seniors, so we were nervous about not being able to get out. We called several Tree Services including one that had cleaned up our property after the Tornado in June that took down five 100 foot White Pines Trees but ELM was the only one who got back to us. They called Monday morning two days after the storm and said they were very busy working in a neighborhood that had been badly damaged but that they would come over after work and clear our driveway, which they did. We then requested that they come back and take care of the other large limbs and trees that were down. They did come back despite a very heavy workload and did a fabulous job as In some cases the tree limbs were on my Rhododendrons and Yew hedge and the men were very careful to remove the limbs without damage to the plants and the hedge which was not easy to do. Last week, we had a few more branches down from winds and Randy arrived the next day and removed those branches, this was the evening before Thanksgiving after working all day. I can't say enough about this Company and recommend them highly, not only for their kindness and concern for our welfare, but for the work that they did at what I consider a very reasonable cost;.
Description of Work: Removed fallen trees and branches that were blocking our driveway after the Nor'Easter and then came back to do the clean up. We lost most of our large Magnolia and several Dogwoods also downed limbs all over the property which they took care of.

We have had Don from E.L.M. over to our property many times to remove other large trees, professionally prune many ornamental trees and bushes, grind large stumps and spray for insects in hemlocks and fruit trees. Each and every time Don has arrived when he said he would come, completed the service required and advised us on all our landscaping needs. His prices are very fair and his work is professional and excellent. I have, and will continue, to recommend his company.
Description of Work: Remove a large white oak tree approx. 50 ft. tall, remove an extra large branch caught in another tree, and grind out stump.
