My electrician recommended C&D Custom for my annual Generac Generator Service in 2016. Over the years, C& D Custom has taken good care of my generator and more recently the electrical system at my home. Their technicians arrive on time, fully explain the service they do on the generator and provide advice on keeping my generator in good working order. I have also received excellent customer service whenever I need to make an appointment or have a question. They have earned and deserve their 5-star rating.

I hired them to repair my generator. While communication was not great, everyone was very nice. I was told my carburetor was replaced, but the carb that was on the unit after repair looked exactly like the original. So I figured that it may have been rebuilt. The problem was the generator ran exactly like it did when they took it away. It was hard to start and ran rough. So I looked up Yamaha dealers in CT and took it to a Yamaha dealing in Wallingford. After spending another $245.00, it runs like new. They put the carb through two ultrasonic cleaning cycles. The $110 I spent on the original repair is money I might as well have flushed down the toilet.

The office personnel were great, polite and friendly. Nick, the electrician, showed up on time, prepared and ready to work. He quickly installed a new ceiling light and alarm pad for us. He was polite, friendly and professional and he answered all our questions. We're very happy with the new fixture and working alarm pad. Will definitely call them again with any electrical needs.

Excellent communication from the start, couldn t ask for nicer, more accommodating ladies in the office. Electricians were very respectful of my property, on time and did a great job with install. They left the area cleaner and looking better than when they had started. Highly recommended!

Best Electricians around. Family run business, with excellent electricians in the field. Field techs are on time, and costs are competitive. They have since done several projects for me, and I would never use anyone else.

Honest people

Unfortunately, mine turned out that my generator blew a cylinder. But, the service was very good. I've not replaced it. It's a lot of money to do so. $7K-8K. And the power in my area has been a lot more reliable from all the tree trimming.

I cannot say enough about these people. They are reliable, responsive, reasonably priced, professional, and courteous. They show up on time, respect the house (never break anything, don't walk around with really dirty shoes), they work efficiently, smile, and explain everything. The guys who did light fixtures went above and beyond, including coming up with good fixes to problems we ran into. Clayton, the owner, is extremely professional and runs his business with integrity and competence.
